Forest 2.0
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Going to be similar to Newcastle away in terms of home crowd factor. We need to start well for a change.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thing is we used to start great and get worse as the game went on.

I didn't know Superb was Gyokeres's Mum.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because I highly rate the player ? Odd call
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because you protect him like a mother hen from criticism.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only one that I can recall criticising him is you tbf. You have a strange aversion to him for some reason lol.

But criticise all you wish, I don't feel any need to protect him. You'll see for yourself what he's all about next season in the PL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't treat him like a panacea.

Respectfully, your approach to strikers since I have been on the Haven is 'look at the shiny shiny' — with you wanting us to splurge £100m on a new striker every 12 months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not remotely true actually. I was against us splurging huge money on Osimhen. The only big money striker I've really championed is Gyokeres. And every time I do you get weird about it lol

Forest are such a dirty team, I normally cheer the underdog - but honestly, they're crap. It's all just timewasting and set pieces. Pulisball on steroids.

Agree with that. A bit like Arsenal.

Key thing is when they come out full of fire next week, we don’t crumble early on. Weather the storm a bit and then take charge of the game.

We need you to do the pre-match team talk. Maresca needs to wind them up, but not to exploding point, as happened with Jackson before the Newcastle game. We need to be up for it, but to stay calm. We will miss Jackson’s running, but perhaps not his lack of composure.

It's pretty irritating to think if we'd just beaten Ipswich all we'd need is a point at Forest.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has played through conjunctivitis for the last two Premier League matches.

The 24-year-old midfielder was seen playing with inflammation of his right eye in the 1-0 win over Manchester United which he said impacted his vision.

That’s incredibly infectious. We’re probably going to have an entire team of blind players next week.

I don’t know what result is best for us in this Arsenal v Newcastle game, but I just can’t bring myself to cheer for Arsenal.

Newcastle are more of a threat to our position than Arsenal at the minute I suppose

Arsenal need to win by 4+ goals for the match to have any real impact on our game against Forest

Theoretically if Newcastle somehow lose next week, a draw for us will be enough.

It’s annoying that they’re just ahead of us on GD though.

Everton are in decent form so maybe Moyeseh can do us a favour

It's really annoying Newcastle/Everton wasn't the Goodison farewell match. Now that would've made sh!t very interesting.

In any other circumstances Forest (A) would be the last match I'd consider him necessary too. That is indeed, extremely bloody annoying.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's annoying but we had dug our grave already by p 1 5 5 poor performances and lack of attacking against relegation fodder, Newcastle were always gonna be a tough game. Added to that the lack of understanding by our SD has massively cost us, cos overall a 2 year old problem has bitten us in the @s5.

Jackson can basically fack off...we don't need him

posted 4 weeks ago

So if we draw then one of Everton or Manchester United has to do us a solid basically. Everton would have to beat Newcastle or United could draw to Villa

In theory United is more plausible but they'll likely either be drunk or depressed

There's also Fulham vs City, which is not an easy game for City but I just expect them to do the business. If they beat Bournemouth on Tuesday they are home and dry basically

posted 4 weeks ago

Also let's not pretend Jackson has been pulling up trees prior to his red........unless pulling up trees now means being offside and dumb for most the game

Biggest problem here is the lack of a second striker.......and no I don't count Guiu as our second striker, he has always been fulfilling the position of 3rd striker in a team
