Did you see the disallowed Villa goal? Should have been 1-1 - but then Man Utd went straight up the other end and scored a second. Refereeing error stopped them getting into the CL

Nah. Just watched the replay, Rodgers steps on the GK’s hand, the ref didn’t blow at the right time, but that goal was correctly disallowed.

Yeah Maresca made the right calls there once we went ahead. Do think we were lucky to score, more their error than our play, but parking the bus once ahead was absolutely the right move.

He’ll get the next season, though personally dubious we’ll see much progress. Hopefully I am wrong.

Forest were pretty dreadful. We did to them what they normally do to other teams - hit them on the break and then sit back and hold them off.
