Guiu is such an unknown quantity...had a great run in the conference games until he got crocked...such a shame we didn't see more
Nothing to go on really with him....he might be great...might not

Mbuemo and Wissa will do me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d love Mbuemo - he scored 20 goals as a winger, which is really incredible. But he’s a left-footed right winger, and we (apparently) are looking at right-footed left wingers.

Preference for me is Gyokeres or Oshimen if we can fit them into our wage structure.
Also, if we sign Oshimen, I'd be tempted to sell Jackson and bring in a striker we wouldn't lose during AFCON (unless we're ready to trust Guiu for 4+ weeks)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If we sign a new first team striker, I don’t think we need to buy a new reserve striker to cover for those 4 weeks that Jackson may be away. We can manage.
Also, if we buy Osimhen (and I really hope we do), can we all learn to spell his name correctly.

Feck him. He wanted to go to Man Utd until we qualified for the CL? He can go to Man Utd - we’re now looking at better players. (At least I hope that’s what Chelsea will say).

How about Mitoma? He’s 28 years old admittedly, but he’s an excellent right-footed left winger. Scored 10 goals this season. Probably too old for us though.

Gyokeres is a no brainer imo, especially if available for £65m according to Romano. Club probably won’t go for him due to age, but it would be a huge miss.
Osimhen is also good, but we couldn’t agree wages last time, doubt anything has changed.
Etikite at £80m as rumoured today sounds ridiculous to me, but I haven’t seen much of him and does seem to fit the profile the club is after.
Delap at £30m just makes so much sense that I would be surprised if we didn’t sign him.
Do rate Eze but can’t see the club going for him at supposed £60m release clause.
Sancho we should send back for the £5m break clause.

It's all in jest Superb. I will take your point you were right about a striker before I was, but Gyokeres had a huge release clause last season and considering the number of flop forwards over the years it was a valid concern.

I'll take this as your tentative first steps aboard the Gyokeres train 🚂
