England keeper did a great job. Didn’t realise she plays for Chelsea too
I saw her birth year listed as 2000 and thought 'oh that makes her a youth player essentially playing in goal for England, thats so cool'
Not realising people born on 2000 are just like 24/25 now ffs

The women's game/penalties are soooooo bad

The thing is - while still lacking in some ways, it's way better than 20 years ago.

I was at barbecue where I spoke to a friend's 15 year old son who claimed to support Arsenal but had never heard of Freddie Ljunberg and referred to the Simpsons as a show "I think my Dad likes."
Then I realised he must have been born in 2009 and not have any meaningfully developed memories until about 2014 and I felt ancient.

can’t stop laughing at the end
Fair play Lucy Bronze. Played with a fractured tibia the whole tournament. That is well hard
Pool are going for Isak which, if they make it happen, makes them likely to retain the title, but perhaps also opens up an exit route for Jackson.
Newcastle been rejected by most targets this summer, if they squeeze £130m out of pool for Isak they might feel they need to go big on a replacement. Jackson would suit their transition heavy style too.
England U21's and the Lionesses putting the men's senior team to shame

biggish absolutely dreaming now
‼️ Chelsea's first bid for Jorrel Hato is €40m, but Ajax want €55 to €60 million.
The expectation is that both clubs will reach an agreement somewhere in the middle. It's said that €50 million is also a fantastic amount.

Craig Hope suggesting Wissa and Jackson most likely options (potentially both) if they opt to sell Isak.
Do you personally know any sports desk guys these days npe?

Not these days - built a rapport with a few when I used to intern on sports desks but that was 5-6 years ago, fell out of contact I am afraid.

Newcastle's in the know reporter. He writes for the Mail.
I think he broke Isak wanting to leave and Liverpool bid imminent.
Hopefully Newcastle buy Samu as Isak replacement, so I can laugh at Superb when he outscores Gyokeres

I miss the days of Sky Sports News deadline day shenanigans and transfers coming seemingly out of nowhere.
First Matt Law ruined it by Marina literally feeding him stories and then Fabrizio and the Twitter scoopers have just changed the game.
If this was 10 years ago we'd probably not even know the Hato links yet, it'd emerge like a Christmas present
Like when we signed Fabregas with about 4 hours notice.
Think deadline day peaked for us with Torres and Luiz.
yeah but i wouldnt know who the feck he is
one of the biggest who the feck is even that signings i remember in the old days was Brana, cause we plucked him directly out of the Russian league
record fee for that league too
He also did nothing for a year and barely played then scored twice at Anfield in the CL
Ivanovic from 2009-2015, basically take off his first year and last 18 months, was world class
