Chelsea reaching agreement in principle for Hato is not far off with the deal likely to exceed €40m. It is expected to be finalised this week.

do we need to replace Jackson if we sell him?

What - for someone with a discipline record and no idea where the offside line is?

I believe we still own a young Albanian that fits that description...........
Chelsea could bid for Alejandro Garnacho in addition to Xavi Simons.

Tottenham are in talks to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid, but nothing has been decided by the player, who could stay at Real Madrid.

Said before, do rate Garnacho and would be happy if the price is reasonable, particularly considering Utd are pushing him out the door. Do need more outgoings though, otherwise the squad will be bloated again.
Nkunku and Jackson gone for that to even be considered surely

This is a concern as I don't believe we're signing both and I'm worried that we'll go for Garnacho instead of Simons who I think is a much better player. And as far as I know not a cant like Garnacho lol
🚨 Jackson: There is some movement with Newcastle and Manchester United.
Chelsea want BOTH Garnacho and Simons. There is a concrete possibility that Chelsea sign both. For Garnacho, it is something for later in the window.

Remember Nkunku, Felix, Chuk and Jackson sales combined is maybe £180m coming in
dont have to fkin spend all of it tho
I'd prefer a third striker over Garnacho but won't complain if price is alright
I can’t imagine how many minutes all those players are going to get. Will Simons play as a 10? In which case Palmer out wide? In which case how many minutes will Neto and Estevao receive? And if we sign Garnacho how often will we see Gittens.
Plus, with all those forwards, does that mean we will never play Enzo in the number 10 position?
If we sign all these players we will likely have 2 very good players for every position (except goalkeeper and centre back of course). Maresca could have a tough time keeping everyone happy. And that’s if we manage to sell all the deadwood we still have on the books.
I'd take Garnacho on loan. Geovany Quenda replaces him the following season.
this Liverpool window vs our summer of 2004
Didier Drogba
Ricardo Carvalho
Paulo Ferreira
Arjen Robben
Tiago Mendes
Petr Cech
Alex
Jiri Jarosik
Mateja Kežman
2 flops several absolute legends
You could in theory add Jose and all his staff to that list too

I don't even want him on loan, I'd rather keep George
We were having the same conversation last summer and it worked out fine
There were some casualties
Felix
Nkunku
Carney
But that's OK
We played 65 games last season we need depth
Estevao is young he will need time to adapt
I really don't think we sign garnacho either not if we sign Simmons
We also need depth if we want to be able to adapt and change things up tactically without dropping quality there will be games where we need to unlock a low block and games where we need to expose teams in behind.
Also the deadwood won't be part of the squad, they wont train with the team

Yes we do. That's another issue to be sorted
Chelsea are struggling to offload England international Ben Chilwell. No club has come in for the left-back yet.
