As to why Titanic was such a remarkable success in Japan, a promotional worker for the film analyzes: "Although there hadn't been any major hits with epic romances during the two or three decades since Lawrence of Arabia, Japanese people love touching, tearful films. Those who have actually seen such epics in movie theaters are now in their middle ages and older. They are at the height of their careers and have often been too busy for movie outings, but Titanic has drawn them back to the theaters. This expansion of the movie-going population, from young people to full-time homemakers and working men as well, was a major factor contributing to the Titanic boom.

House Of The Dragon has been branded 'bigger, better and bloodier' than Game Of Thrones in rave early reviews.

After hints, teasers, casting calls, an unprecedented pandemic and a somewhat disappointing end to one of the biggest shows in recent history, winter is once again upon us.

From Monday evening long awaited Game Of Thrones prequel House Of The Dragon is set to unpick the fraught, fractious and undeniably incestuous lives of Daenerys Targaryen's distant relatives.

The HBO series was created by Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin and is based on his sprawling 2018 book Fire & Blood - a comprehensive history of the House Targaryen.

Set 200 years before the bloody battle for the seven kingdoms depicted in Game of Thrones, House Of The Dragon will document the events leading up to Martin's fictionalised War of Succession - a battle for the throne that is ominously referred to as the Dance of the Dragons.

Tate Trash was Zoe Tate's refuge collection company. The company was founded in 2002 by Zoe's brother Chris Tate, but Zoe took over the company after Chris's death in September 2003.

The company went bust in early 2004 after the King's used a series underhand tactics to win the contract that the company needed to stay afloat. Zoe later sold the King's the refuge trucks for £80,000.

Chelsea say they have identified and banned a season ticket holder indefinitely after reports that Tottenham forward Son Heung-min was racially abused at Stamford Bridge.

The incident is alleged to have happened when the South Korean international went to take a corner in the second half of Sunday's 2-2 draw in the Premier League.

In a statement earlier this week, the west London club said discriminatory behaviour was "totally abhorrent".

It added at the time: "Chelsea FC has consistently made its zero tolerance position on discriminatory behaviour very clear, yet there are still idiots like this that attach themselves to this club as so called 'fans', which shames Chelsea FC, our coaches, players, staff and our true supporters.

"It has no place at Chelsea or in any of our communities."

Chelsea's long-running 'No To Hate' campaign launched its latest initiative on Sunday, which gives instructions on the back of every seat on how supporters can report alleged abuses either by text or by barcode on a smartphone.

Tyreece John-Jules, Conor Chaplin and Kayden Jackson grabbed the goals as Ipswich maintained their grip on top spot in League One with a comfortable win over Shrewsbury.

Arsenal loanee John-Jules marked his first league start for the away side by opening the scoring in the 22nd minute.

The 21-year-old dispossessed Shrewsbury captain Luke Leahy around 40 yards from goal before going on a mazy run through the heart of the home side's defence and slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Ipswich doubled their advantage seven minutes after half-time as Chaplin's left-footed strike from just outside the area found its way past goalkeeper Marko Marosi.

The three points were sealed two minutes into stoppage time with substitute Jackson tapping home after captain Sam Morsy's attempt was blocked on the line.

Wilfried Zaha scored twice as Crystal Palace earned their first win of the season after coming from a goal down to beat Aston Villa in a lively encounter at Selhurst Park.

Villa got off to the perfect start when Ollie Watkins fired low past Vicente Guaita to give the visitors a fifth-minute lead.

But Palace restored parity on the counter less than three minutes later through the impressive Zaha, who shook off Ezri Konsa and beat Emiliano Martinez with a low shot.

The hosts thought they had turned the game on its head when Jeffrey Schlupp struck after 26 minutes only for VAR to adjudge that Odsonne Edouard had strayed offside before finding the Ghana midfielder.

However, VAR later awarded Palace a penalty after Marc Guehi's back-post header struck Lucas Digne's arm, with Zaha scoring on the rebound having seen his spot-kick saved by Martinez.

Substitute Jean-Philippe Mateta wrapped up the win for Palace with a well-taken strike - only a minute after replacing Edouard.
