Driving home from the creamery one evening, we watched the sun slowly descend over the Wisconsin prairie with the sky lit in rich ochre hues. That’s when the idea for Prairie Sunset was born — a cheese embodying the color and soul of the American Heartland. Humble, friendly and reliable, this classic table cheese is an everyday favorite for both kids and adults.

McDonald's is to close all of its UK restaurants on Monday 19 September, as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her funeral.

The fast food chain, which has around 1,300 outlets in the UK, said they would all be shut until 5pm on the day.

A bank holiday across the UK was approved by King Charles III for the day of his mother's funeral.

The Queen, Britain's longest ever reigning monarch, died on Thursday at her Scottish estate in Balmoral.

John Lewis, Waitrose, Asda, Primark and a host of other businesses have already said they will be shut in the UK on Monday to mark the proceedings.

Rotherham United moved up to ninth in the Championship table as they comfortably beat Blackpool at the New York Stadium.

Chiedozie Ogbene put the hosts ahead midway through the first half when he headed home from Richard Wood's delivery.

The hosts doubled their lead when Wes Harding slotted in from close range as they rallied late on.

Just three minutes later, Rotherham made sure of the three points as Georgie Kelly fired in on the rebound after Dan Grimshaw's initial save from Ogbene's shot.

Victory sees the hosts move up seven places in the Championship table after their third league win of the season so far.

Ecuador face being kicked out of the World Cup after Sportsmail obtained new evidence of a shocking admission from one of their players of using a false birth certificate, with the confession made in an official investigation that was covered up by the Ecuador Football Federation [FEF].

The stunning revelation in FIFA's inquiry into the case of Byron Castillo comes days before their Appeals Commission are due to rule on the matter on Thursday, and could alter the identity of Qatar's opponents in the first game of the World Cup.

Roger Federer, a 20-time Grand Slam singles champion, will retire from top-level tennis after the Laver Cup in London later this month.

Swiss Federer, 41, has not played since Wimbledon 2021, after which he had a third knee operation.

"My body's message to me lately has been clear," Federer said.

"I have played more than 1,500 matches over 24 years. Now I must recognise when it is time to end my competitive career."

He added: "To the game of tennis, I love you and will never leave you."

Only Spain's Rafael Nadal, with 22 majors, and Serbia's Novak Djokovic, with 21, have more men's Grand Slam singles titles than Federer.

Federer made his professional debut aged 16 in 1998 and won his first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2003.

He ends his career with a record total of eight men's singles victories at the All England Club.

Federer's final Grand Slam triumph came at the 2018 Australian Open when, aged 36, he became the second-oldest man to win a major singles title in the Open era.

After rising to world number one for the first time in 2004, he spent 310 weeks as the leading player on the ATP Tour during his career - a record until he was surpassed by Djokovic in February 2021.

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his barren spell with the first Europa League goal of his career as Manchester United earned victory at Sheriff Tiraspol.

Erik ten Hag's men suffered defeat at Old Trafford in their Group E opener against Real Sociedad but responded by claiming all three points in Moldova.

The Red Devils opened the scoring in the first half as a lovely team move was coolly finished off by Jadon Sancho from Christian Eriksen's reverse pass.

Sancho, who was left out of the England squad earlier in the day, came close to a second but his low shot was brilliantly cleared off the line by Sheriff captain Stjepan Radeljic on the stretch.

But United did double their advantage before half-time courtesy of Ronaldo's penalty, awarded after Patrick Kpozo tripped Diogo Dalot in the box.

Ronaldo could have taken his tally to 700 club goals but side-footed over from the edge of the area while at the other end, Sheriff could not force David de Gea into any meaningful saves.

Hearts won an entertaining contest with RFS of Latvia as they kickstarted their Europa Conference League campaign.

Lawrence Shankland's first-half penalty put them ahead before the break, and Alan Forrest's strike in stoppage time sealed victory.

Hearts had goalkeeper Craig Gordon to thank at points, especially for tipping one effort on to the woodwork.

They also passed up good chances to add to their tally - including Shankland missing an empty net.

In the end it did not matter as Hearts move second in Group A behind Istanbul Basaksehir - who defeated Fiorentina 3-0 - as Robbie Neilson's side prepare to face the Serie A club home and away next.

The win in Riga keeps some hope of progression alive for injury-hit Hearts, who were handed a sixth defeat in seven games by Basaksehir last week when the Turkish side left Edinburgh with a 4-0 win.
