Luke Shaw's been signed. Dave's article all but confirms it.

I so hope it's because Moyes is being fecked off
Moyes is at the Benfica vs Porto game I think
I think the Nike deal announcement is imminent

That was my first reaction too. It can't be long.
And if they really do want to pay us £500 over 10-15 years to rename our ground the Nike Arena @ Old Trafford, I say we should seriously consider it.
The club had shares in SAF's wine collection...
Is that the rumour then? They want to rename OT?

Yea it's a rumour nothing more. Richard Keys (yes I know) claims to have heard from reputable source.
Probably a load of nonsense but for silly amounts, we'd be foolish to not consider it.
We are Nike's biggest asset in the football market. Not that unrealistic.

Really? Even though a HUGE chunk of that would go in the pocket of the Glazers?

Would this not be another instance of city thinking bigger again? They got millions, you want 500 quid.
I'd hate Old Trafford to be called anything but Old Trafford.
I wouldn't put it past the Glazers doing just that, Rob.
Who cares if it has its name changed, every single fan would still call it Old Trafford. Never really get why the thought angers people so much, it's not as if you're gonna be arrested for calling it wrong.

Deffo. People might want the stadium rights sold for player money but we already make HUGE sums from sponsorships.
If we need to sell the naming rights as well then something isn't right.
