Would be more than happy with either
aurent Blanc has also been ruled out, despite Ferguson's close ties with the Paris Saint-Germain coach, and it has been made clear that the final say this time will belong to Woodward, supported by the United's American directors, rather than the most successful manager in the club's history.
Not sure which I'd prefer out of those two
Giggs will not be considered for the job even though he wins the last 4 games convincingly, Daniel Taylor also reports.
Ian Ladyman, Daily Mail Manchester correspondent, also reports tonight that Fergie had decided to let Moyes go on Sunday night too.
If this is true it looks like they're taking a far more considered approach.
Carlo is the better manager of the two.
Probably prefer Ancelotti of the two
Van Gaal and Mourinho in the same league would be pretty epic though
United's directors have fleetingly discussed Mourinho's position at Chelsea but are also acutely aware that they would almost certainly be wasting their time trying to extract him from Chelsea and their attentions are on Ancelotti's position at Real Madrid and Van Gaal's availability after leading Holland at the World Cup. "There is not a vast pool to choose from," a high-level source at Old Trafford admitted.
Who are Real going to replace Carlo with then?
Will be Van Gaal. Can't see Ancelotti leaving Madrid after one season especially if he doesn't win the league or CL. Van Gaal nailed on for me, I would put a lot of money on it but I don't have any money and the odds are dreadful.

Moyes Allegri.
The likes of Conte have been alerted by the United hierarchy, however he hasn't been discussed amongst them yet. As Sky said today, United haven't met anyone yet but they will do in the next few weeks. We want to get a manager in before the WC starts so we can prepare for our transfer signings.
Anyone else or is it just these 2
Silly season with agents jostling for position already by the look of it.
I'd be surprised if Ancelotti is realistic, depends on how he finishes the season I suppose.
They'll replace him with Zidane.
SSN reporting tonight Moyes found out he was fired through social media, the club didn't tell him before it was leaked. Shameful if that's true.

Tim Sherwood likes this.
The decision to fire Moyes was taken in a conference call involving Woodward, the Glazers, Ferguson and the club's other directors on Sunday night
Can imagine them all on Skype discussing Moyes Cathy probably in the background pouring Fergie his wine
It's 100% going to be Van Gaal.
Although incredibly Ancelotti is still only in his early 50's so don't rule him out for the one after Van Gaal.
Either is a VAST improvement on Gollum though.

There is an amateurish nature to everything we do these days, on and off the pitch.
I've always admired King Carlo, if we nab him I'll be very optimistic of our future under him. Fingers crossed Madrid feck up the CL and La Liga.
