Ancelotti turned us down for Madrid in the summer according to French press at the time. Nobody should be offered it twice.

How many managers would choose united over real?
United are a massive club but Real have far greater pull, for managers and players.

I know, Henrik. Was being facetious.

According to Di Marzio Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join Juventus next season.

Fergie offered the job to one person before Moyes and apparently that was Guardiola. That's according to Diego Torres' Mourinho book.

Probably very few on the continent but they should be forced to live with their decision for the rest of their careers.

SSN reporting tonight Moyes found out he was fired through social media, the club didn't tell him before it was leaked. Shameful if that's true.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's true..via Twitter !! The Glazers were nowhere to be seen nor SAF apparently even though they had made the decision before the Everton game and the players knew he was a dead man walking.
The club have lacked class in this and also some of those players as Neville and Keano have said should be ashamed of themselves

Papers also reporting tonight the players went to Ferguson straight after the Everton game to tell him they don't want to play for Moyes anymore. It's probably why Fergie agreed on the sacking.

The concept of shame isn't something people like Rio are familiar with.

Moyes had been a 'bully and arrogant' with them.

Wtf has he got to be arrogant about exactly?

Vidic leaving has very little to do with moyes.

Italy will be better for his body.

Vidic is no longer up to a grueling 38 game PL campaign. He can still be world class on one offs (Bayern first leg) but over a number of games he's not the same player anymore.

Been a top player for us though. Will be missed and we'll sing his name forever more.

TRS,

There's a lot that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt to be fair. You'll have the clubs PR machine going into overdrive leaking stories about how bad Moyes was and he won't get any chance to defend himself.

When Mancini was sacked, there were a few stories that were clearly leaked by the club to discredit him further (I personally thought he had done a good enough job of that himself...). That one reads similar, at least in the first paragraph...

Vida in a back three will be interesting.

Unless Mazarri is sacked that it.

David Moyes began remonstrating with the fourth official. Out of the United manager’s earshot, but loud enough it seemed for Steve Round, Moyes’s assistant, to hear, came a shout from a disgruntled player — “Send him off, we’d be better off”.

sigh..

Ok so one question!

Why did chelsea sack Carlo again?

posted on 22/4/14

In fact, look on the right hand side and there is an article that starts

"Even Sir Alex Ferguson did not realise the scale of his miracle and how difficult it would be to succeed him, Matthews Syed writes

Or, it might be that even given the size of the "miracle", it was just a bad fit...

Pinch of salt...

first paragraph sums it up, I really didn't know the players hated Moyes this much.
