I get the impression that Spurs are after Van Gaal but he's holding out for a something bigger whereas we are holding out for someone bigger than Van Gaal.

CdS were linking them with Allegri last week.

He probably would do alright at Spurs, to be fair. It's not like their players are trophy winners that will be questioning his credentials.

He was at Cagliari and I think he was at Sassuolo too

Sherwood is the Danny Dyer of football management.

I could see Moyes going abroad, a bit like McClaren who's reputation domestically was ruined after the England job.

Maybe Germany, I think he could do well. Good luck to him, I appreciate his hard work but I do find it hard to have sympathy for a man who was never good enough.
