Lacked class

I'd agree with that. He's been so cool when everything was going for us. One blip and now we're pointing fingers. Not on. Awful day, well done Chelsea.

I was quite shocked.

For a manager who has shown so much class this season he really let himself down today.

Apparently we (Chelsea) were supposed to play the way Liverpool wanted us to; open up and allow them to pick us off with their fast players.

Too bad Mourinho didn't read the script.

The delusion holds no bounds does it

Chelsea didn't 'do a number' on anyone today. Liverpool gifted them a win with a awful error. Other than that only one team was trying to win the game even though they didn't actually have to

The most damming statistic of the season is that Chelsea have beaten Liverpool & City home and away in the league this season but still find themselves behind

Terrific approach to the game Jose

Yes, you are correct. Chelsea scored 2 goals via expansive attacking play. They didn't park the bus and time waste from minute one. Nice one.

But I do agree with that last paragraph, whilst not gracious, doesn't mean it's not in his nature anymore. Always been a respectable figure, ringing and consoling sacked managers etc. And ignoring decisions towards the opposition isn't unheard of

*but I do disagree

If your team or bent was any good you would have beaten us.

The whole world told you how we were going to play

We have done it time and time again

Yet Liverpool could not beat us in fact you lost to our B team

Idiot

We ended Liverpool's deluded title challenge today, and it felt good

Rodgers does understand that good defending is part of the game doesn't he?

BR is still young in managerial terms. When he watches the game back with his coaches he will learn more about his and his teams limitations.
Anyone who thinks Mourinho turned up for a nil nil is a fool and doesn't know about him.
After beating Barca whilst at Inter he was being interviewed and pretty much like today the guy with the mike knocked the lack of possession his team had. Jose responded he doesnt need the ball to score goals. Nothing has changed. He's happy for you to have 90% of the ball but he will make the 10% count whilst the opponents are restricted to hopeful crosses and shots from outside the box

Didn't he also suggest that a ref was biased cause he was from greater Manchester?

And who said it was expansive attacking play? There was no expansive attacking play from either team.

Why do some Liverpool fans (and their manager evidently) keep trying to hold themselves up as martyrs to English football? A though they are playing the most beautiful football ever? They are not Barcelona, they have played some good stuff do sure but are not in a position to be slagging off other teams about their style of ply just cause thy bet them!

Fair comment,it does seem to be in the character of the red side of Merseyside that if they don't win, there must have been a conspiracy or something !They don't do graciousness and seem to thrive on bitterness and envy.

Chelsea had to come and win to try and stay in the title race

Jose effectively gave up and played a team not to get beaten & simply got lucky

That's what you spend all that money on, good luck to you but if Madrid get an away goal and park the bus do not utter a single word other than congratulations to them

I listened intently to his post match comments, but all I could hear him saying was " I wish I had a plan b, I wish i had a plan b"

Liverpool didn't need to win the game,Chelsea did.If Rodgers had any sort of tactical nous about him he could have got his team to simply pass the ball around to force Chelsea out of their formation.

Rodgers instead got his team set up to win a game they didn't even have to win and the fool got his comeuppance and now comes out with the sour grapes

Chelsea looked comfortable in defence, created the best chances, scored 2 goals. Don't see what all the fuss is about.

Brendan Rodgers hasn't even been there 2 years and he is already as paranoid and self-pitiful as the rest of the Scousers

the fact that Mourinho berated Schurle for passing back to his goalie proves that Chelsea do far more than just park the bus

Goes to show that managers look lovely chaps when their teams are winning.

And you thrive on selective reading There have been plenty of Liverpool fans saying Chelsea deserved the win, but don't let that stop you....
