On BR, yeah it was a little ungracious. Frankly though it's certainly no worse than any other top manager has done in the past.
He wants to win and was bitterly disappointed. It's been said a thousand times but people with a burning desire to win are rarely good losers!
quite possibly the worst, most inaccurate article i've read all year

I find it funny that people seem to think nobody else has come to Anfield and played that way.
Sunderland did it only a month ago, we beat them.
This 'you will have to learn to play against it' rubbish.
Chelsea are the best at it. They beat Barca and Bayern playing that way, and Barca and Bayern are better than us.
Many other teams will come to Anfield and try the same thing, like they already have done this season, and will fail.
We don't need a plan B, we don't need to change anything, we just need to improve plan A with better players.
As BR himself pointed out, we are still above Chelsea, so them doing the double over us has (to date), achieved not much on us. If we don't win the title it will be another all out attack team who wins it, another team who Chelsea did the double over, so what exactly would Chelsea have taught us and/or City?

Chelsea has shown the blueprint to other managers on how to play Liverpool, especially the big clubs with the better players.
I'm sure next season, many managers will set up their teams to keep it tight in the first half and play counter attacking football.
I am friends with a lot of Liverpool fans, and after the City game they genuinely thought that was it. I said you realise you have to play chelsea yet, a team who frequently gets to the latter stages of the champions league and competes for titles.
Its as thought Liverpool fans thought it would be a routine win. Its ok spanking the rubbish teams, you were fortunate to win against City, and Chelsea just played how a good team, away from home with limited attacking options should play. And they kept a clean sheet with ease.
Suarez and Sturridge only 1 goal between them against the top 4 teams this season
Most managers these days don't want to play defensive anti football.
Those that do have already tried it this season and every other season.
Which big club managers are going to do it next season? Wenger? Pellegrini? Van Gaal?
If you think so, then you clearly know absolutely nothing about football.
"Chelsea has shown the blueprint to other managers on how to play Liverpool"
we've come up against this 20+ times this season as a conservative estimate
You need a Chelsea priced squad for it to have a chance

Most clubs try to park the bus but they don't have the players to do it. Do you not watch any of our games?????

We ended Liverpool's deluded title challenge today, and it felt good
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How is it deluded to be top with 3 games to go and think you could win it.
I think you need to look up what deluded means mate.

Like this is something new. Only city and arsenal have come at us at anfield. You also were a little more fluid. Apart from that everyone has done exactly what you said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most clubs have tried pressing your midfield and back 4.Chelsea let you have all the possession you wanted until you got th 35 yards from their goal.
No other team has played you quite this way
Ron
I know that the majority of Liverpool fans on here bar a couple have never said we were going to win the league when we beat City. Most of us are happy with a top 3 place.

"and play counter attacking football"
Chelsea only counter attacked once. I think they only attacked once.
in the 94th minute when the match was already over and we only had the keeper back in 'defence'

Your friends are not like mine then!
No fan that I know of thought it was all over after the City game. I don't know of anyone (in real life as opposed to JA606) that thought we'd get a routine win over Chelsea either - they're in second place for goodness sake!
You know some quite unrealistic people.
