If they want they can sign Suarez

Rodgers did say in the build up to the game 'all the pressure is on Chelsea'.So why didn't he congratulate them on overcoming the pressure and winning quite comfortably too

Fair comment,it does seem to be in the character of the red side of Merseyside that if they don't win, there must have been a conspiracy or something !They don't do graciousness and seem to thrive on bitterness and envy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you thrive on selective readingThere have been plenty of Liverpool fans saying Chelsea deserved the win, but don't let that stop you....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, there have been I agree. Shame old dipstick op has to spoil it for the rest.
They didn't win 'comfortably' they were gifted a foothold in the game other than that they did nothing to try and win the game
They aren't a bold, brave & attacking team so no congratulations are due for their 'approach' to the game
Wait for the outcry this week if Madrid park the bus and get through. There is complete double standards at the Bridge hence they won't get the 'respect' they seem to think their due
Well played lads was good to see the smug grin wiped off his face...big nosed cerhunt!

Sorry, strike that, not the op.
Did people expect Mourinho to play it any other way? Did Rodgers?
If you know how someone is going to play, then you should be better equipped at dealing with it surely?

What makes me laugh about today is Atkinson pointing to his watch and telling Chelsea to hurry up after about 30 seconds. Yet at Stamford bridge most teams time waste and the refs do absolutely nothing about it.
And then because he added on so much time we scored in both extra times

Steven Gerrard having potshot after potshot from 25-30 yds out and their keeper making a couple of routine saves to me suggests the win was comfortable and deserved

Wow...really?
You think that being 'bold, brave and attacking' is the only way to play?
I must have missed the people who congratulated United after their first leg DRAW against Bayern, or the people who congratulated Liverpool after playing not too differently in their CL win!
No congratulations because a team defended and hit on the counter? There is more than one way to play football, and no one way is the best. So get off your fúcking high horse.
He was obviously upset, doesn't change my opinion of him, good man and a good manager. Glad he got the chance a club like Liverpool.
Good manager, but he's going to have to get used to teams playing like against him, if Liverpool continue to play the way they do.
It's something Chelsea, City, and United have had to do.

Watching Alan Hanson on football focus yesterday with that smug smile saying the title is Liverpool's will be a priceless clip to refer back to if they fail.
Please City win the last 3 games so the beeb will show the clip time and time again

City and United obviously haven't learned to do it because they managed 1 goal each against Chelsea in 2 matches too, same as Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't mean against Chelsea, specifically, and certainly not this season (from a United perspective) but if Liverpool are going to become consistent challengers, they will need to figure out how to play against other teams playing a similar way.

Making City favourites for the title? The same City that appears to view Arsenal as it's feeder club!
