Finally going to make a comment on today’s farce of a decision. It annoyed me to the point of wanting to stay away from anything football related.
How can that challenge go unpunished?! It’s baffling. As far as I’m concerned these were premeditated attacks on our players. It’s not coincidence that the 2 outstanding talents we have were targeted for red card offences. You only have to look at the Richarlison challenge at the end. He had the audacity to look back after being a red trying to go in for more. Those players were out to injure our boys yesterday and that coupled with Pickford getting off scot-free has soured an already bad taste in the mouth.
Moving forwards I think we’ll be seeing Fab + 1 other. Gomez and Matip are too injury prone. Playing them together is just asking for trouble. We also have young Rhys Williams who has always impressed aswell as Koumetio.

I think it was Lovren wasnt it? It was the left hand side that Kane sent him for a paper on the half way line when they smashed us.
I always remember Lovren on the left.
I still think it will be Fab +1. He played there very successfully at Monaco and has always looked assured when called upon. He put in a dominant display against Chelsea there not so long ago
A lot will depend on Thiagos availability.
If he plays I think Fabinho will get a few games in the defence providing we genie and hendo in there with Thiago.
