Really weird amount of abuse for Ox today. Played 8 mins, played a lovely ball through to Mane who wasted pretty much a 1-1 by trying to cut back and made a couple of decent tackles when tracking back. He lost the ball twice in situations he didn't really have much on.

really, he was awful.
Hard to criticise Ox given the situation he came into and the amount of time he had on the pitch. Although he did look a little lost when he came on sometimes when he had the ball.
Always knew Milan would be a tough game, I didn't expect a walkover against them but getting the win was the most important part.

Pathetic excuse to somehow blame or link Keita to the goal conceded. That doesn't necessarily mean anything in our system. Maybe it was his turn or opportunity to be high up the pitch in our system. We had two other midfielders on the pitch you know.

I think I was just impressed he made an impact at least and wasn't just a passenger in the game like he usually is.

Ox ran down a couple of blind alleys but had very little support and he (from memory) put one through to Mane who did what Mane does best and thought too much about it and lost the chance.
Keita seemed absolutely fine to me, everybody expects him to be Steven Gerrard in his prime for some reason.
Origi did fine from what I saw and it was a spectacular assist. Gomez also was absolutely fine, didn't understand the desperation to get him off for VVD towards the end of the game.
3 of those players have barely played in a year and 2 of them were integral to beating a good AC Milan team having gone 1-2 down.
Don't understand the whining today, despite myself being fairly negative.
Henderson I thought was absolutely unreal last night and that goal was sublime. Now he did look like Steven Gerrard!
