What is it about United players thst makes them believe they don’t need to put any effort in? It honestly staggers me how players like Rashford think they can get away with it - and yet they are all continually picked!

Rashford symbolises the dressing room culture which exists at utd. He's a disgrace, but what's more disgraceful is that Southgate still picks him for his England squad.

One of the reasons I originally liked Southgate was he said a player would need to be playing regularly at a high level to be picked for england and he would pick on form. Now he picks Maguire and Phillips irrespective of club playing time, Henderson despite his semi-retirement and still chooses Rashford despite awful form.

I know all managers are guilty of being over-loyal to players but I hope the Euros is Southgate’s last. We have too much talent to leave it in his hands.

The insane thing is, if they’d won yesterday they would only be a point behind us before we play today.

They are in an incredibly false position. In reality, their performances should have them in the bottom six. They have been very lucky.

Even yesterday they got very lucky. Any team missing bucket loads of chances against them which has been a very common theme all season. So lucky to be as high up the table as they are.

Agree, Utd have definitely gained 10 or so undeserved points. I said ont he live tthread yesterday surely their luck has to run out soon. Fortunately 2 mins later Gordon scored. Theyve had a kind run in but still somehow fluked so many points.

I won't mind Palhinha in January. He would fix our defensive issues immediately. Virgil was the only one who was defending aggressively. The majority of our team are very passive defenders. We allow the opposition all the time of the world to cross the ball in the box. Watch the first and third Fulham goal.

I think there are a lot of DMs we could sign who would boost the squad immensely. Find it impossible to see us challenging without one.

Don’t really understand us supposedly dropping the interest in Andre, but whatever.

Grav was poor today. Why does he keep slipping?

Gotta be quite a fair few changes for Sheffield United with 3 games in 6 days. Szobo and Macca only played 60 mins today because of that which is good, but Klopp got away with that one.

Szobo has been under par for a while for me. Not been able to continue his early season form. Less boasting and more performances on the pitch.

I thought he wasn't bad on the ball but off the ball he was dreadful. Gravenberch also needs to improve defensively. He is too slow in tracking back. I would rather play Endo, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai at this moment to get the balance right.

Our December fixtures are coming straight from hell. Next 3 games are away from home. Sheffield, Palace and USG.

However after that, our next homegames are

Man Utd
West Ham(cup)
Arsenal
Newcastle
Chelsea

All before the new year. There's some away games at Burnley and Bournemouth in there.

We have Arsenal away right after that Chelsea game too. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say the next month could make or break our domestic season. We are a couple of points off the top. If we are still within 3 points of the leaders after these games we will have given ourselves a good chance.

City look far from convincing. I know there are a few on here not convinced that we can mount a title challenge but I really see no reason why not.
