How long will it take for England to suss out Ali is not an opener? Should be down the order. Taylor wasted at 6. Would pick hales and probably drop root as you can't drop your captain. Or can you and pick broad as captain? Good match for bopara to miss as he automatically becomes a better player by not playing .If they want to pick a pinch hitter why not open with butler rather than Ali? Pointless butler coming in at 7 with the game over.

have to admire the aussies. i hear so many other fans whinge about odi or tests or t20s, whereas the aussies want to be the best in all forms. Their team has great work ethics in all forms of cricket and no wonder they have won so many world cups as well ruled in test cricket.
