100 times the players. he's not even a tenth. valenica is a loyal player, lets play him out wide. depay has proven nothing and if we are relying on him to do something special, well we aint going to compete for anything. depay would not get into any top sides XI.

Jesus, I bet you were bemoaning the Ronaldo signing back in 2003 while you were at preschool in your Real Madrid onesie

People who feel angry towards Di Maria. Are you the people who were most happy about his signing 12 months ago?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm quite meh. Like last summer.

When he signed, I thought great, we have a really fast winger that we'd see knocking it past the full back and getting crosses in. That never really happened. But what made me think meh was the size of the fee. I thought it was extremely high. By about £20m.

I'm quite meh over him leaving. A bit disappointed it didn't work out, quite happy we are getting rid of a player that didn't want to be here and that was reflected in his performances.

"You know the situation," Robert said. "[Pedro] has a release clause of €30m, and we are waiting for someone to make the offer. His performance level is fantastic and the coach and we like him. We do not want him to go, but we know this is a risky situation, and we have to wait."

This is from the new Barca techincal secretary. I'm hoping now Angel is officially gone we can make our move soon.

Bloodred, this should answer your earlier question:

Angel Di Maria officially becomes the most expensive combined transfer player in football history.

I'm surprised Barcelona have such a low release clause for him!

You'd have to assume that if United want him they could easily have found £22m down the back of the sofa....so maybe they don't want him?

There's been talk in Spain that United wanted Di Maria to be confirmed by PSG before making their move.

It's actually €150m, but it's been lowered because of an agreement between Pedro and the Barca board. They know he won't be getting many starts at Barca.

Not sure why people are upset at di maria. The guy wanted to go,what can you do?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Put in a transfer request.

Don't just go AWOL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who said he went awol? I do not believe for one second that lvg did not know where he was.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

LVG probably did know where ADM was. He said he didn't know why he wasn't on the plane.

Hmm, don't quite see why they couldn't have made their move when it was clear he was off...which was 3-4 days ago.

Now they'll be lucky to have Pedro available before their 2nd PL game, let alone for saturday.

I'm sure we do want Pedro. Just wanted to bury the bad news of the adm leaving 'saga' with some happy Pedro news in the next few days. Everyone seems to be reporting about the super cup 'clause' so I guess we have to wait. No huge rush as at least he's playing every week and should walk straight into the side.

Which top side would Depay start in? Don't think there is one. He's not good enough that's why, not yet anyway. Depay would be a good signing if we had top quality forwards playing for us already. But we don't have a single world class forward.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Depay would start for Juve, easily, play him as trequartista behind the 2 CF's

Couldn't give a toss, just like him.

You may be right. But I don't get why you are pretending to have seen Depay play more than 3 times

tbh can't see Pedro signing. Would not be suprised if he went to Chelsea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
why?

United aren't going to allow Di Maria to leave without bringing in a top replacement, so get thought out of your head immediately

He's barely in the door and you've already written him off
