Yeah, I think there'll be a few more twists and turns yet in the ongoing Di Maria saga.
I won't believe the saga is over until he's retired and gets Zlatans ghost writer to do his autobiography

I never get why it's ok for other clubs to have strength in depth, but as soon as we have a player or two that might have to be on the bench 'it's time to sell them'

Agree. Bayern often have players like Thiago, Gotze, Martinez on the bench, and have just signed Douglas Costa.
If our replacement can do half as well as him he'll be doing well....
Would still result in one of the better returns from our attacking midfielders for quite some time!

To be fair it would have been crazy if we kept di maria. He was unsettled from attempted burglary and not performing on the pitch.
What happens if someone attempts to burgle his Paris mansion?
Does he then ask for a move?
So.... now that he's gone, can we please buy a Center Back and a Striker please???
I've got a feeling that we'll get Pedro, and that's it.
I hope as number 4 said in the earlier post we learn our lesson from this transfer
Utd is one of the biggest club in the world, the minimum I expect from any player is the desire to fight for the club. I believe this was why we won so many trophies with saf he had a bunch of players who first and foremost were willing to give their all.
