Though a little digging suggests it's round 8-10 years after Rebels. Somewhere I read 5 years after return. And Rebels takes place 5 years after "Leia, also starring that guy"

So it seems the New Republic take a while putting people on trial
----------------------------------------------------------------------
‘That guy’

But this is happening at the same time as Mando S3..
so that makes sense.

I don’t get how Sabine is a Padwan though.
It’s like Disney just making up new rules, which contradict what came before…
But, let’s see where this goes
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought any jedi (master?) could take a padawan learner? So irrespective of how force sensitive, if the Jedi wants to take the learner, they can. Right?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
See now, I didn’t know that… what examples do we have.
What about the Midiclorian cell count?!

Btw, how come we haven’t seen any Jedi run like Qui-Gon and Kenobi did in Phantom Menace?
What’s up with that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The feats achieved during the prequels were greater, as it was the pinnacle age of the jedi. They had all the most powerful force users and they all shared their knowledge. It's the same reason we see huge jumps and force movement. Anakin jumped off a building that was falling down a molten waterfall, and he landed on some droid, which was a fair distance away.

Okay so, the stabbing didn't annoy me as much as it did others, but I don't understand why they would open that can of worms when there's so many others ways they could have gone with it - doesn't really inspire confidence.

I was a bit confused about what was going on, cos some of it didn't really seem to add up to Rebels

Sabines ass is incredible and I was sad when she cut her hair.

She punched a droid in the head though and that annoyed me.

Chopper was everything I dreamed of.

Mostly though, I'm just not feeling Ahsoka yet. I understand at this point she's a bit broken and closed off, but there haven't really been any glimpses of the personality that made her such a popular character.

I also think they should be bringing Thrawn in earlier, but I guess they're trying to pace it towards this movie idea they have

The stabbing jarred me, cos I think Disney wants us, or to Force us to accept that this is the way.
They basically saying what happened to Reva makes sense now, so get over it, quit your complaining.
Yeh well Leia still doesn’t know who ~Kenobi is. You can try retcon as many times as you want, I’ll never buy it.
I swear, if Thrawn doesn’t appear til late on, I’m going to have a hissy fit. I can see saving Evra for the movie, cos that’s a big deal, but Thrawn has to show up, and start wrecking vengeance.
All facking hell has to break loose, and this show cannot end on a good note, but for the saviour to be found.

Sabine can’t become Jedi in this show, just like that.
She’s cut her hair so she can put on the Helmet I think.

When she looked at her Mando gear then pulled out a lightsaber I was a lil frustrated

There is a lot of good stuff in the show, I just want Ahsoka to be more likeable, nothing to be retconned from Rebels and Thrawn to come into it early

OK not watched the show yet but having quickly skimmed through all the very important spoilers and conversation I am left with one question.

How far into the show do we get to see Sabine Wrens ass? Do I need to pause it or is it a long frame? Should the missus be out?

posted on 28/8/23

Ok… so the reason I brought up the Jedi’s running super fast, it would of been handy for Ahsoka when she was trying to outrun the nuclear-ish explosion..

Btw, just hold up a Damn minute.

The facking rubic ball map! Forget Sabine and how she solved it, that was just..yeh, anyway.

But this gives the location of Thrawn/Ezra right.
Who or What did that? How did they know?

Oh my god! It’s the Force Awakens 2.0

Um..I didn’t tbh. Soz. I thought you were into Twi-leks?

I actually don’t mind Morgan Elsbeth being a Witch.
I think they retconned her character, cos surely she would’ve used her powers when she fought Ahsoka that time… but I’ll allow it, as it opens up many possibilities

Yeah there's been too many map storylines already and it kind of goes against Thrawns meticulous nature, in my opinion.

I thought Ahsoka leaning out of the way of the lightsaber was very Anakin though, which was cool. There was a shot that was right out of the phantom menace too and I generally like the bad guys, although she should be able to destroy a lowly inquisitor easily

Yeh I don't get it - they are leaning so heavily on Heir, it should have just been Thrawn returning and starting to fook sheet up. Cos really why would some ancient witch artifact tell em where he is? Map quest Isn't needed

I assume the academy is around. Based on her character in the CW and what Anakin taught her, the more obvious answer is that Ahsoka wouldn’t give a crap about jedi protocol for padawans. If she wanted to train Sabine then that’s what she’d do.

Did they explain why it was in some ancient ruin?
Who did that?
And I get that if you haven’t seen CW or Rebels you might be a bit lost. But besides a few things, one being the Characters energy compared to the Animated shows, there was a lot of good stuff in there.

I am ok with Dawsons performance as Ahsoka thus far but we need to see more of her and less of Sabine and Hera. This show feels like a Rebels live action, despite it being pitched as Ahsoka's show. Ahsoka's behaviour has just a great deal over the CW and Rebels. During CW, she was more excitable and gregarious character but in Rebels she is mellow and her emotions are kept hidden.

I'm not sure what her views are but we know she spent some time with Luke, so he must have updated the jedi syllabus.

They are trying to mix in elements of the Zahns trilogy but time will tell if it succeeds.

Ah ok… as Old Ben said, i see… so somewhere way after she opened her mind then. But we never saw that.
Ok.
And then Ahsoka took her on, then ditched her.. and is now back with her.

Will be honest String - was thinking the same, and actually googled it yesterday. I sort of thought there was something in Rebels but couldn't remember.
