Let me get my issues with episode out of the way first-
1. Lightsaber fights were ok but still well below prequel level. Why can't they just make them as good?
2. Sabine handing over the map was too quick and sudden.
3. Sabine will use the force in this show. They've foreshadowed it too many times now.
4. When Ahsoka beats the inquisitor, why doesn't she just help Sabine defeat Shin? It would take her less than 5 minutes. Ahsoka also said they would stick together.
5. She should have gone two sabers against Baylon.
6. She defeats Baylon, although she made hard work of it but then when her hand gets scolded, she suddenly can't stand up to his power? Even a one handed Ahsoka should be able to beat Baylon.
7. Her falling off the cliff was pointless. We know she survives.
8. Shin can force choke? Why didn't she just do that to Sabine earlier?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dunno, I could be off track here, but by this time, hasn’t their Saber skills become a bit redundant. Not been in practice much, like in the CW era.
Out of their Prime, age being a factor?
I was surprised she didn’t go 2 Sabers as well, that’s what she’s known for.
I think Shin, not knowing Sabine to well, didn’t want to risk it, as she thought Sabine had Powers too.
Sabine told her to go get the Map, otherwise those 5 extra mins battling Shin, would’ve been all Morgan needed, to get the location of Thrawn.
So is Ahsoka dead? And just what version of Ani is this, if this is indeed him… he doesn’t have the scar, so I’m thinking it’s Return of the Jedi Anakin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahsoka still has those skills and she's in her prime. She should be able to best most if not all current force users.
Shin knew Sabine didn't have powers because of their first encounter.
Ahsoka could have handled Shin in 2 minutes, maybe less. A quick force grab and push would have sufficed.
We know the character the show is named after is not dead. It was a pointless attempt at suspense.
Also, what's up with the deaging on Anakin? It didn't look as good as it did in Obi Wan.

Ok, so, we are 0 for 2 in the ‘Guess Who’ game.
I actually liked the fact it wasn’t anyone we know… however, the Witches of Dathomir live on, did Morgan do this? Was it a living dead Inquisitor?
We gonna rule out Savage Opress right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it was an inquisitor.
Well look it doesn’t matter who we think it was, it went up in smoke anyhow, so....
We just gonna have to take the L for the 2nd time, and live with it. That is, Until the next show, where we embarrass ourselves...
I enjoyed the lightsaber fight tbh, the changing of the stances, I kinda figured they were having a mental battle of the force too.
Don't think Sabine had too much choice with the map, the blaster wouldn't have destroyed it anyway. Figured Baylan knew about Sabine and Ezra cos he was in her mind. She almost certainly will use the force, which is kind of a shame, I like her embracing her Mandalorian side.
Baylan knowing Anakin and by association Ahsoka makes complete sense, but him knowing Anakin's fate doesn't necessarily. I guess it could be explained adequately though.
Not dealing with Shin was stupid but can see why it might happen.
After she burnt her hand she also got all off kilter emotionally, thinking Sabine was dead, raging at Shin (which in turn made Baylan mad, which made him stronger and more aggressive), then realising Sabine was fine. I actually thought it was a pretty believable way of writing her to come off worse in a fight she should be winning.
Funny to see all the Marrok theories and then he just goes up in smoke

Is Morgan the only Witch left?
Not sure, in one of the video games there's more of them, but that's when the Empire is in power so they could have been wiped out by now

It was still a great episode overall, it just concerns me when they make these basic errors. The whole cliff thing is amusing as we've seen Ahsoka literally jump from ship to ship, whilst in the air.
https://youtu.be/IcGbY-NJ6Sk?si=VacoJmiMxruUGcww
It just makes the whole cliff scene look embarassing.
In terms of what I liked about the episode:
1. The pacing was great.
2. I loved the samurai esque battle Ahsoka has with the Inquisitor.
3. This episode pushes the story along well and it means we should see Thrawn well before the last episode.
4. Baylon's presence on screen and his dialogue makes him a far more interesting villain than the nightsister. I want to know more about him and Shin.
5. Baylon's dialogue was excellent.
6. Anakin appearing at the end sets up episode 5 as possibly one of the best of the season. Despite the dodgy CGI, I still got the goosebumps seeing the chosen one.
It's also worth noting that Episode 5 is the last one that Filoni directs for season 1. Expect fireworks people.
I'm hoping for some flashbacks and more of Anakin during different periods of his jedi training.

Jedi Fallen Order - there's been speculation about whether or not the main character there will come into the TV world at some point as he's worked with Saw Guerrera etc
So, the point about Anakin.. and maybe I’m reading too much into it... we even heard Vader’s theme.
I beginning to think it’s a ruse.
First off, how did Ahsoka get pulled into the WBW?
Why is Anakin there? Why is he dressed all in black.
How do we know it’s not some false force projection, made up by say.. Palpatine, just like he did Ezra.
What does make sense though, is that this is RotJ Anakin after death, so this is the Ani she knew.
And he’s not a Force Ghost cos he’s not Force Projecting, cos he doesn’t have to.

Man I dunno the more I think about it, the more I’m thinking this isn’t what we think. I really convincing myself Ahsoka is being played.

If he is After Deatf Anakin from Return of the Jedi, then why is he not in Jedi Robes, but all in Black just as he was in Revenge of the Sith.
Where’s his facial scar gone? Again, it must be RotJ Ani.
Why did we hear Vaders theme?
Is she just unconscious on a rock somewhere?.
Another thing, moving sideways slightly, Baylon destroyed the Ball thingy, so nobody can follow them, however I think I know how they can still find Ezra and follow them.. and it all comes back to Ahsoka…
Any guesses?
