Yeah. This is where i think they are going wrong quite a bit generally. We have had two series now which were pretty needless just to keep old school anoraks happy in Obi Wan and Boba Fett.

They need to come at it differently.

I don’t know, if Ewan McGregor comes and says he wants to do a OB1 series then I think yes is absolutely the right answer. The issue they had wasn’t the concept of the well known character, it was employment utter cretins to write the thing

And bad directing… looked cheap for the most part.
Let’s put dialog to one side… there were so many unimaginable choices made.
Many standouts, but the overhead shot of Kenobi getting past the lasered barrier, when he simply could’ve walked around.
We only know he could’ve walked around cos of the poor choice of camera shot.

Consider this for a moment.

What if George Lucas made an Obi Wan movie after he had finished with Episode 3. At the very least, the movie would have looked visually stunning, had incredible action and it wouldn't have contradicted established lore.

The problem has and always will be the directing and writing of these shows.

It also doesn't help when the directors aren't fans of the franchise.

I reckon he was in the jedi order during the clone wars and must have heard stories about Ahsoka walking away. His mentioned that everyone knew Anakin, so Baylon probably came across him at some point or would have heard about his feats. He spoke about him with reverance, which makes sense as Anakin was practically a legend during the CW, and you people still have the audacity to say Luke in ROTJ would beat him.I digress, Ahsoka wouldn't have known everyone single member and he read Sabines mind, which is how he got the information about Ezra.

1. Lightsaber fights were ok but still well below prequel level. Why can't they just make them as good?
2. Sabine handing over the map was too quick and sudden.
3. Sabine will use the force in this show. They've foreshadowed it too many times now.
4. When Ahsoka beats the inquisitor, why doesn't she just help Sabine defeat Shin? It would take her less than 5 minutes. Ahsoka also said they would stick together.
5. She should have gone two sabers against Baylon.
6. She defeats Baylon, although she made hard work of it but then when her hand gets scolded, she suddenly can't stand up to his power? Even a one handed Ahsoka should be able to beat Baylon.
7. Her falling off the cliff was pointless. We know she survives.
8. Shin can force choke? Why didn't she just do that to Sabine earlier?

Ok, so, we are 0 for 2 in the ‘Guess Who’ game.
I actually liked the fact it wasn’t anyone we know… however, the Witches of Dathomir live on, did Morgan do this? Was it a living dead Inquisitor?
We gonna rule out Savage Opress right?

I dunno, I could be off track here, but by this time, hasn’t their Saber skills become a bit redundant. Not been in practice much, like in the CW era.
Out of their Prime, age being a factor?

I was surprised she didn’t go 2 Sabers as well, that’s what she’s known for.
I think Shin, not knowing Sabine to well, didn’t want to risk it, as she thought Sabine had Powers too.
Sabine told her to go get the Map, otherwise those 5 extra mins battling Shin, would’ve been all Morgan needed, to get the location of Thrawn.

So is Ahsoka dead? And just what version of Ani is this, if this is indeed him… he doesn’t have the scar, so I’m thinking it’s Return of the Jedi Anakin.
