How does Hayden's performance as Anakin in episode 5,stack up against his performance in ROS?

It’s not even about the Films… it’s like he’s been pulled straight out of the CW to Live Action. It’s seamless.
The mannerisms, character. Everything.
He does do something that makes you think of the Prequels, but this is straight CW Anakin.

where did they ever imply in rebels that sabine was force sensitive?

When she was training with the dark sabre. Kanan has a whole conversation about it with her and then with hera after.

They’ve also explained it this show. Everyone and everything has the force flowing through but it takes talent, training and will to become one with it.

Also she was always the “badass” of the group.

I personally don't subscribe to that whole concept of anyone can train to use the force. However, it's obvious Sabine will be force sensitive and eventually a Rey like force user. They've dropped countless hints and foreshadowing. I suspect she will use the force when Ezra or Ahsoka is in danger of being killed. A bit like when Rey healed Kylo.

If they make Sabine Rey’esk then I despair with the lot of them. As ridiculous as the storyline was at least it could be argued that Rey had innate force sensitivity due to the Palpatine bloodline.

There’s just nothing with Sabine. It was even said she has the least natural talent of any padawan. I’ve made peace with the fact they’ll make her a force user of some description (albeit still think it’s stupid and i necessary) but I’m clinging to the hope that she’ll be the dunce end of the force users rather than Rey’esk.

See, I’m wondering, when the crossover all happens, and she eventually meets the rest of Bo Katan that she will embrace them rather than pursue the ways of the Jedi.
They’ve got Jacon, and Ezra still has to come back.
But, knowing Disney, we can see them pushing Sabine.
But as been said, she’ll be kinda like a Kai Havertz, which is an interesting take, to be being the Chosen One/ Mary Sue type.

Same, he put it really well too.

For me he managed to hugely bridge the gap between CW Anakin and Prequels Anakin, as well as Vader and Anakin. It was a really impressive performance switching between different the nuances of Anakin over time, plus his lightsaber work was brilliant.

Why haven’t you watched it yet?

episode was good, I enjoyed it . not feeling this whole 9/10s that people are shouting , christ I even heard the radio talking about it this morning.

It was lore heavy, I imagine those who watched CW would have loved it. I thought the young kid playing Ahsoka made Dawson look like she hasnt been practicing the sabre fights as much. She was excellent in the scenes.

In terms of actual story it moved on about 2 mins, a lot more depth however and like I said a lot of service paid to those who are more invested. I assume thats where the high scores are coming from.

7/10 for me, i enjoyed it and as some one who hasnt seen CW there was enough there for me to piece together and figure it out .... I think !!

I don’t know, I’m not you, but my friends are watching it, and they haven’t seen CW/Rebels, and they are disliking the show as it goes, cos they feel they being punished for not seeing them.

And I feel for them, cos they love Star Wars. They not any less of a fan for not having seen them, but speaking to them, things are just going over their head.
And Disney/LucasFilm don’t help by saying ‘you don’t have to watch them to get it’

I can totally see that , it has referenced a lot of material that Im not aware of .. I havent seen CW but I have read up on enough I think that helps me piece bits together. Its not that I didnt want to watch CW, the out of sync non chronical order stopped me (watched about 8/9 episodes in chronological order) but gave up.

I do agree that its wrong to almost rely on knowing background stuff from a different show, and at no point before hand were people given much notice that its gonna rely heavily on events from that. Granted I knew but that was only cos you guys on here.

Like I said Im enjoying it, just not as much as some others. There is some aspects I love. As stated before Baylan is tremendous so far.

Were viewers actually told that you dont have to watch CW to get it ?? thats not good if true , cos there is a shed load that carries over and even me someone who has read up on it .... is still trying to piece things together.

Thus far, I would say more Rebels knowledge is required than CW. However, Rebels builds on CW, so it all connects eventually.
