Sounds like You were pulling on something alright!

T-SaliBAG, You! Have to answer for your crimes!
Goddammit! I’ve put a bounty on yer head!
BladeRunner?!? Fam?! What’s up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming from the guy who needed tissues for the episode!

Didn't Bladerunner come out ages ago? Think it's just something I missed due to age and then never quite got around to catching up on

Hera this episode was a bit ridiculous though, was genuinely the only thing that pulled me out of the plot
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The constant scene switches were one of my gripes. I wanted more Anakin and Ahsoka.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I could have gone for more of it. Nearly did a Stringer and went full on spoilers but I shall refrain

Live or die, live or die.

Ok that's enough, lets move on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But Cinci, you thought it’d be worse than that… like the whole episode. I think Filoni got the balance about right.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, I was glad they didn't just spend 20 mins chatting shat that wasn't actually relevant. Interludes of Hera's ass made it work a bit more.

So why did they try and create an Ahsoka battling with life scenario?

Good that Ahsoka can spend hours under water and not drown. Weird she needed a helmet underwater in CW.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
So my interpretation was, 1, she was obviously concussed, and it was all a dream. Anakin made it clear she was the one in control of the visions.
2. She obviously has a mental block when it comes to Anakin, and it was something she needed to get over.
But I don’t think she had given up on life, I think the question was more to do with the predicament she’s in at that very moment.
She’s in the water, is she gonna give up and die, or fight to live.
That’s how I saw it…

I didn't take it as a dream, he seemed to have Anakin's memories and Jacen could hear the lightsabers. I guess her body wasn't physically underwater the whole time either cos nothing came up on the scanners

Agreed.

I also think the live or die was a reference to whether she had the fight left in her.

Hmm.. 🤔this is true..
yeh, how did he hear that?..
So you think she really was in the World Between Worlds?

posted on 14/9/23

I think she was in the world between worlds but it was Anakin who initiated the sequence. He brought her there. The reason why it wasn't a dream was because Anakin didn't recognise the Siege of Mandalore. If it was her dream, he would have seen it before. Also, Anakin mentions a line Luke said in ROTJ. How would Ahsoka know about that line, when she wasn't there.

I've read theories about Anakin being the Father from the Mortis arc and it would make sense. He is the balance between good and bad.

So watched it twice and watched my go to YouTube guy and I’m giving it a easy 9/10

I can see why people rate it lower if they haven’t watched CW or rebels as it’s heavy on that to understand parts.

There’s one shot that’s up there as one of the best shots we’ve ever seen in SW
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Assuming it was the same one, it defo gave me chills (both times)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If it's the Vader/Anakin switch, I agree.

Yeah that was basically how I interpreted in upon reflection, I am quite excited to hear Filoni's inevitable explanation though.

But it was very interesting seeing him give that lesson while acknowledging all aspects of his life (although I would have appreciated a bit of time where he reflected more on his time as Vader, but teaching a lesson like this did feel very Anakin).

Seeing them same lightsaber choreo as we saw when they fought in Rebels was great, as was the moment where they both briefly had the Sith eyes before she disarmed him and threw away the same saber like Luke did.

Plus we had Rex and mention of Leia, there was so much to unpack from the episode

Hayden was the star of this episode. He captured the clone wars Anakin perfectly and his saber skills remain top quality. How is it that he can move so fast yet other saber fights seem like they are in slow motion? I loved how he was able to seamlessly go from Episode 3 Anakin and then to the less intense Clone Wars version.

Young Ahsoka was excellent too. Both her and Rosario had great chemistry with Hayden.

Agree with it all.

Hayden was still able to move brilliantly and even pulled off the signature behind the back twirl thing as Anakin, but was also able to display the sheer physicality and intimidation of Vader too.

I really thought he did a great job of bringing Lanter's Anakin into his own and making them feel like they were unreservedly the same character.

Come on Stringer.

Bail Organa died when the first death star blew up Alderaan.

That was definitely Leia.

Wouldn't he have been blasted by the Death Star by now?
