Ahsokas about 5 years after Return..........Luke is still getting his butt kicked, don't get me wrong he will put up a good fight, but Ahsoka would very likely have the advantage......especially against the 2 handed style, which till this point he would only have read about.
Hmmmm thinking about the timeline.......Luke should be meeting Ahsoka soonish, as it seems that Ahsoka is in the middle of Mando 2 and 3, right around the time of Boba.
So I am doubling down on Ahsoka gets back ahead of Thrawn and she is there asking for help from Luke
Also rewatching the Luke scenes he is still massively in doubt over his skills when talking with Ahsoka
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that makes sense. We know Ahsoka is with Luke in book of Boba, so maybe she's there to warn him or come up with a gameplan.
It would be interesting to see when exactly she finds out that Anakin had a son and daughter.

I disagree.
Luke hasn't really faced much, 6 yeas after ROTJ. The only saber fights he's had were against Vader, who held back both times. He helped defeat the Emperor that was by rejecting his invitation to the darkside. Luke's force abilities and mastery might be greater than Ahsoka's but she's had the more experience in actual saber battles.
Ahsoka has fought:
Maul
Anakin
Vader
Ventress
Grevious
Death Watch
That's not to mention the countless battles during the CE and her jedi temple teachings. Episode 5 literally explains that her jedi journey started off with her being a solider.
Much like the Luke vs Anakin debate, the jedi that fought during the CW were far too experienced and skilled for Luke.
I think the following also beat Luke, 6 years after ROTJ:
CW Yoda
CW Palpatine
Dooku
CW Obi Wan
Episode 1 Maul
CW Mace Windu

Experience is certainly on Ahsoka’s side but we are taking about the son of the chosen one here and he would have had a good amount of training by now.

Best episode of the series and largely because of the Anakin/Ahsoka stuff.
I am torn on whether I would want 8 seasons of a live action show. I think the animated version was able to tell a wonderful story and depict visuals that couldn't be done in live action. Throw in the voice acting and music and I wouldn't change a thing about the animated show.
However, I would like to see more live action episodes around the CW. There were countless battles and stories that took place during that time, so maybe a live action CW mini series could work. I'd like to see Anakin and Obi Wan on missions in live action and maybe even an episode where we see Maul running the underworld.

So a) he can't do this - he's a jedi, and b) would have Ahsoka much better at any of this stuff at this point in time
And yeh Guv we know he took the droids, but for a light sabre wielding jedi is pretty much child's play, heck most of those padawens in Ep1-3 would comfortably deal with them, and Ep2 Anakin barely breaks a sweat, you gotta think most people think the jedi don't really exist so no longer have counters for them.

The main reason why force users don't do this to each other is because you can defend against a force chole or chest crush. Ahsoka would use the force the deflect any attempts he made. It's the exact reason Maul doesn't just force choke Qui Gon and Obi Wan or why Anakin doesn't just force choke Obi Wan on Mustafar.

Agreed. I was just pointing out the most challenging battle Luke would have faced between ROTJ and Ahsoka.
It's also worth mentioning that after episode 5, it seems Ahsoka has levelled up even more. I think Ahsoka the white is on another level to current Luke.
Ahsoka, much like Anakin would have been trained in saber duelling by Yoda,Windu and other powerful jedi. It's also worth noting that Ahsoka was a teenage during all her battles in CWs. She's got a headstart on Luke that isn't easily surpassed.
Luke after the Thrawn trilogy beats everyone though. By that time, he's faced a few more battles, had encounters with other powerful force users and his knowledge of the force has been deepended tremendously.

But you all focusing on Saber battles/styles.. Luke would cave in her chest with a force pull, then crush her windpipe.
