Also - let us not forget that Ahsoka left the order before she was a Jedi knight. She was pretty much there maybe but not quite. Talented yes, and trained by the chosen one, with loads of proper battle experience but still not a knight.

Also across the books and the movies I don't think we see anyone more powerful than Yoda. Palps and Anakin are in the ball park, Luke never gets to that level imo. Vader is about as strong as Luke and by all accounts his injuries/suit limit his abilities considerably. Luke is very strong but he is closer to Ob1 than Yoda or Palps

But Anakin didn’t have the support of council for master at all and was only given a seat because of Papa Sheev
The reason I mentioned Ahsoka technically not being a knight was purely as a Vs Luke point. That being said, was Luke technically a knight by ROTJ? Labelled as such but he obviously didn’t have the same trials nor ceremony with a hair cut.

The main reason why force users don't do this to each other is because you can defend against a force chole or chest crush. Ahsoka would use the force the deflect any attempts he made. It's the exact reason Maul doesn't just force choke Qui Gon and Obi Wan or why Anakin doesn't just force choke Obi Wan on Mustafar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I think force users have a protective bubble to guard against simply getting flung about / crushed organs but it’s not infallible. Look at Dooku Vs Anakin & Obi on invisible hand. They need to be concentrating.
Luke may not easily be able to defeat ahsoka with the force but he could probably do it. He’s a lot stronger with the force than she is after all.
Another reason why I think he’d defeat her 1on1
What’s the time difference between ahsoka show and meeting Luke with grogu etc? A year?
5 years is such a short period of time though
And again it can't even be compared with normal Jedi training which Ahsoka completed, Luke is literally trying to rebuild the Jedi from the ground up.
Also Ahsoka didn't just sit on her thumbs for the following 30 years.....yes 30 years. So again you need to realise it's 10 years of Jedi training, the clone wars and then whatever else she spent doing over the following 30 years Vs some with 2 sabre battles under his belt, a few months training (more control than sabre ), and then a few years of reading books - seriously for me it's not even close Luke is just missing to much that other Jedi went through and 5 years with all this is basically no time at all. He also lost twice to a guy who was trying his best not to hurt him for the most part.....
Again a similar age Luke (40ish) is a much better and fairer fight.
It's taking place around the same time - I think from what I have read Luke in Boba would match up with Ahsoka returning from where ever she ends up.
And you are making a huge assumption that Luke is "much" stronger in the force than Ahsoka at this point, pretty certain this is as much argument that he potentially is stronger but not as skilled at this time. So now I am thinking Mighty Mouse Vs Bradley Martin. Yeh Martin's got a punchers chance and the physical strength and power but I am putting my house on Might Mouse every day of the week.

I made the same points for CW Anakin Vs Luke so I totally get where you’re coming from.
The training Anakin and ahsoka received is ridiculous.
Problem is, 5 years being deemed short or not, we simply do not know the extent of Luke’s training/progress after ROTJ to now.
I guess I’m just very comfortable assuming that he also received excellent training from the ghosts and having the potential that he has, he’s a fkign quick learner to say the least
Look at what he did with hardly any training. Beating vader (trying or not he didn’t want his hand cut off again) and even ESB he genuinely surprised Vader. Ahsoka with similarly limited training would get destroyed by Luke.
I just cannot accept that ROTJ Luke doesn’t improve an awful lot over 5 years and if he does, he deffo smacks ahsoka.

It is an assumption but I think it’s a fair one. He’s chosen one level that’s notably higher than Yoda and Palps.
The skill / lightsaber skills / training we simply will never know (hopefully we do!)
Put it this way I would expect middle of CW Anakin to be on par with Luke ROTJ +5 years

5 years opportunity for one on one training from Yoda, Obi, Anakin? That’s some ridiculous training too (if it happened)
I honestly havent seen anything that suggest the ghost do anything except occasionally turn up for a chat once in a while when they get bored
And like I said I am sure the Lukes been doing a ton of stuff......but that's the problem its not just being dedicated to fighting, and that is the only way he last more than 5 mins with Ahsoka is if he spent every minute of those 5 years training to fight........but he's not. Hes building a temple, he is finding younglings, he is trying to understand the force, which quite frankly he still doesn't understand, and those are the things we know he done. As Guv said you are also guessing he has diplomatic duties as well, so you take that into account - he has maybe had a year to dedicate to fighting..........honestly 15 year old Anakin and a 10 year old Leia as written by KK is beating him, as well as Rey who only picked up a light sabre 5 mins before the fight
I’ll just add look at Luke’s progress in the OT from barely any training. What was it a month or so with Yoda and a short time with Obi by end of ESB and apparently no time with Yoda between ESB & ROTJ - that progress is insane!
Now imagine 5-6 years progress with time spent like he did for the year between empire and jedi, let alone any training from the ghosts.
Ridiculous learner. Only Rey outdoes him in that regard.
Luke returning to Dagobah in ROTJ:
LUKE: But I need your help. I've come back to complete the training.
YODA:No more training do you require. Already know you that which you need.
LUKE:Then I am a Jedi?
YODA: Ohhh. Not yet. One thing remains: Vader. You must confront Vader. Then, only then, a Jedi will you be. And confront him you must.

Luke learned a lot but his attainment of the jedi rank was fast tracked. They needed a jedi to fight Vader and so they had to take shortcuts with Luke's training. If this was during the peak of the jedi, Luke would still be a padawan.
It's like WW1. Men were called up and given the basic training needed and were then told they were soldiers and ready to fight on the battlefield. In reality, these men needed several years more of training.
