rumours that his hatred for Obi-1 was so strong he survived being cut in half. Maul was known as one of the toughest and most resilient through how much hatred he had and could apparently heal if the hatred was intense enough.

I think Maul's arc is done.

Filoni himself had a plan for Maul and it all concluded through CW and Rebels. Unless someone else takes over the writing of the show, I don't see Filoni undoing all his good work.

i was kinda taking the pi$$ in reference to her somehow making an appearance in OB1

The issue with her appearance is that she saw Obi Wan and then had an adventure with him.

If we just saw a young Leia on Alderaan going to school and learning things about politics, it would have been dull but still logical and part of the continuity.

exactly my point that was a pretty big plot collision with previous (future) story lines. So if they are happy to flaunt such neglect for tradition then anything goes I suppose.

On the contrary, that actually made sense, because Maul was involved in the criminal underground during that time.

Solo is set before Rebels.

I think Thrawn will be the puppet master but he will using force users to fight Ahsoka and crew. With the likely introduction of Ezra in season 2, we could see more than one force user and perhaps a few more inquisitors.

As good as episode 5 was, we need to see Thrawn in the next episode. We cannot have 40 minutes of Ahsoka and crew trying to find another map or tool, that will lead them to Sabine.

100% agree, I wouldn't put in on through choice. However it's comfortably not the worst thing produced recently and I would have it above a few of the series and maybe a couple of the new movies

When do people think Luke will feature in this story?

I think we can rule him out of season 1 but season 2 or the movie they are planning, surely has to include a prime Luke Skywalker? I suspect the movie will involve him and Leia deepfaked and possibly a Han Solo appearance too. They are playing in a sandbox that is only a few years after ROTJ, so as the threat level rises, their involvement has to become more vital.

I can see the movie being like an Avengers type team up. Ahsoka,Luke,Ezra,Sabine,Hera,Solo,Leia,Mando.

I actually think the whole battle will take place in the unknown regions. This gives them the leeway to change certain rules about how things work and it also allows them to introduce new species and technology.

And when did Solo lose the Falcon…. I’m thinking it’s round about the same time as the events in Mando/Ahsoka.
Han, didn’t continue as a General. He went back to ‘importing goods’
Lando making an appearance makes sense.

Han, I’m not so sure about. Appear yes, but as a cameo. Did he play a big role in Heir to the Empire?

Nah that's a complete waste of Thrawn imo as it basically has 0 threat to the Republic and shows none of Thrawns prowess

I am expecting fall on Jaws storyline, as there is no proof of Thrawn causing havoc though out the new republic before finally there is proof and it's too late. Also Mando 3 would suggest it's coming to the new republic

Oh hold on........so I have just realised, that's "all" Zahn done....he wrote Jaws as some Star Wars novella!

Han was a pretty big player in the Thrawn books, I think it's easily explainable to have him hang around to fight Thrawn as he has skin in the game, but essentially go it on his own again after, as he would despise what they're showing the New Republic to be right now.
