Just want you to take advantage of opportunities denied to me, what with my condition.......

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about the Restless Genital Syndrome
Thought that's what Spart has? I just have a touch of the West Highland Problem...........
Spart...Martin to come good in other people's eyes. I would not swap him for any striker linked to us lately.
Or maybe come good in terms of goals..
Form is temporary, class is permanent
It certainly is Baz. Martin will bang them in again soon. he's on 9...I wouldn't put it past him to reach 20 again.
I'm not sure we're making wholesale changes.
I can only assume Camara has been bought for the development squad, his crossing, passing and even shooting are woeful, but he can dribble and does have pace, so maybe Paul sees potential there, the problem is he'll kill off as many moves as he's involved in, handing possession straight back which will cost us games, so I can't see him holding down a regular first team place here?
This has been said both by fans / journalists from his existing club, and can even be seen from some of the highlight videos online, most show some individual skill then end in disappointment, so there's definitely some truth to it.
Interestingly I'm hearing from friends in Spain that Albentosa is playing rather well when he's had a chance?
Sometimes we are so keen not to lose possession we don't attempt anything that might create a chance. We have lacked a player with skill around the edge of the opposition's box and maybe Camara can bring this. You don't mind a player trying a fancy trick or two in that situation but obviously you can't afford to do that in your own half. Probably he will be a player who will be used to try to unlock doors late in games, either wide or behind Martin. Hard to say until we have seen him of course!
At age 25 and a cost of 1.5 million Camara has not been bought for the development squad!
Nick Blackman to Sheffield Wednesday so that's one we can take off our list
Sheff Wed have had a bid accepted. It's possible we may match their bid though.
Albentosa starred and scored for Malaga. They must have been playing the leaden boot 11.
Camara has an immediate chance to show his worth on Saturday. He wont get a better or easier debut to make an impression.
Really hope we give a chance to all the fringe players and rest the regulars. If they can't beat Hartlepool then they should consider their futures.
Spart, Albentosa was never integrated. I would love to know why, if only to avoid the possibility of wasting potential in the future.
He seemed to be very slow and one footed though Cat. The way the Reading player went past him as if he wasn't there in the last match he played for us had to be seen to be believed. A schoolboy central defender would have at least made the forward have to check his stride.
Didn't he have a young child? I thought part of the problem was the upheaval for wife and baby. For anyone domestic stress affects work. In addition to that we had an ever-changing back four, he was in and out of the side and then of course on top of that we had Insolegate. You get the feeling that the players are generally a tight-knit group but Albentosa may well have felt like an outsider as a non-English speaker. Who knows? Mascarell seemed to fit in well, even staying in Derby after he was injured for the latter part of the season. I guess players are human like the rest of us and we rarely know what goes on behind the scenes. I'm glad he's doing well now. He's still our player after all.
Camara sounds to be little different than Dawkins. I suppose he is in for a different chemical mix and maybe our coaching methods will get him passing and shooting better.
Albentosa couldn't jump, head the ball, run or pass.
Otherwise he was okay!
Albentosa was a mistake we ought to have avoided.
There was something not right about the Albentosa deal. The excuse about the insoles was pathetic. How long does it take to fly to Bilbao to retrieve them or have them air mailed to you? Maybe he just didn't want to be here.
By the time of the Reading game, Albentosa had already had his card well marked. The well-documented performance problems should and could have been dealt with. It's history now, and I would simply like to avoid expensive recurrences.
Agree, we need to learn from the experience. If we are to spend big now on someone to have a material impacts his season, it should be on a proven performer at a few clubs and therefore a track record of performance an integration, as Leicester did with Philips, but if we are buying future potential, let it be for next season not this.
More importantly, whilst Stoakes single-handedly tries to create excitement in test cricket, the South Africans gently tap more nails into the test cricket coffin.
Snoozeville cricket at its worst!
And they wonder why kids aren't interested in the beautiful game anymore.
Looks like Blackman is coming in by the way.

I don't see it at all. We have over 100 kids training at our local cricket club every Weds throughout the season.
Where did you hear that Vidal?
