The media and teaching professions (at all levels) are disproportionately left wing due to the left wing approach of trying to influence as many peolpe as possible whereas right wing people tend to go into business more, other than possibly the extremists.

Who owns the vast majority of media in this country?
Please stop posting nonsense
The media in this country is not left wing by any stretch of the imagination
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A lot of BBC management were put in place by blair and are left wing sympathisers. Channel 4 have been using far right extremists and claiming they are normal leave voters. Just 2 examples.

What lie did the BOE tell Weare? Same with Osborne and Cameron
Can you be specific please
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Massive exaggeration is the same as lying. If you don't think they did this then I'm sorry, but you're being delusional.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What did they exaggerate about?
Looking at the past few days, do you believe it cannot get worse?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, nothing has happened that I didn't expect to happen. You cannot make the assumption that what is happening now is the new norm. That's ridiculous thinking.
MUDD I can't beleive you're denying the superstate plans. It's been in the works for ages.
MUDD is making me sympathise with OUT voters

The fact the darling of the intolerant pro-Europe left is pretty rabidly anti EU amuses me.
The fact one of the only parts he enthuses over - freedom of movement - will be the thing that alienates him from Labour's Northern heartlands is just another layer of amusement.
The fact Labour members would rather see a centre right Tory party, than a centre left Labour one is the cherry on the cake

BBC is state run. Most is run by large corporations. That does not mean they cant be left wing. The owners and management of them had a huge incentive to stay in Europe as it protected the tax laws which allowed them to use tax avoidance schemes which means they pay barely any taxes.
One of the remain campaign arguements was that it would protect workers tax laws, but when I looked into it more I came to the conclusion that the workers who's taxes are better protected in the EU are the big earners who avoid paying tax.
Leave Voters
All we can do is go on what we know so far. There's no way of being able to predict the future, specifically with the economy.
However what we do know is we are in for a unspecified period of financial instability. We may come out of it, we may not. We also know that of the 3 core campaign points made by the leave camp nothing is going to change.
So looking to the future, without predicting it. When you put your x in the leave box. What was your vision for this country? Now we have information on immigration, money from the EU etc what do you see happening?
The reason I ask is because we keep being told to 'get over it and look to the future' without any idea of what that future may be. It'd be good to get an idea from your perspective.
Most people I know who voted to leave did so on the sovereignty issue. British parliament to make British laws. That will happen.
Do you think leaving the ERM was a good or bad thing for Britain long term?
What were the short term effects?
A quote I've just seen on Facebook which seems apt, original source unknown.
"When a toxic person can no longer contro you they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair, but stay above it, trusting that other people will see the truth, just like you did."
I've got to say that with all the mud slinging, name calling, accusations of racism, calling people idiots, etc by the remain side that lost in a democratic vote, the term "toxic" does feel very appropriate at the moment.

And again I ask, what EU laws do you disagree with?
There must be some EU laws that are really bad for this country because a lot of leave voters use sovereignty as a reason for leaving.
If you cannot tell me what EU laws are bad then please tell me why you think the EU will allow UK to negotiate a trade agreement that doesn't involve EU laws.
After all, Norway and Switzerland have to abide by the same laws we currently do. They also have to abide by the EU free movement laws.
Please enlighten us.

MUDD I can't beleive you're denying the superstate plans. It's been in the works for ages.
..........................
MUDd has to be wumming here.
The EU has been heading towards a Superstate for years now.
It was my biggest gripe about it. They are still talking about an EU Army, for gods sake.
Twisting the point again. I said "they" which means other people. but you expect me to know their every thought do you?
What I do know is that want the people who make our laws to be elected and if people dont like those laws they can vote them out and elect a new government.
And again I ask, what EU laws do you disagree with?
...............
I disagree with the very fact that the EU makes laws over sovereign nations in the first place. That shouldn't be the purpose of the EU.
Listening to the EU parliament debate this morning I have to say how much I agree with Nigel Farage's comments about the EU being in denial.
They want an early article 50 to stabalise the situation.
I say repeal the 1972 act of Parliament that got us in.
That would get us out and clear of the uncertainty.
I hope that the politicians will take this option and can then put the case forward for access to a tariff free treaty between UK and the EU, it makes sense for both parties.
This Mudd is it is obviously a very agenda driven individual. I dont know what his agenda is but from the use of his English, beligerant attitude, etc is clearly trying to make anyone who does not share his agenda seem unbelievable or stupid.

From my research, the average import tariff to the EU is 1.5%.
We had a VAT rise of almost double that, and as far as I remember the world kept revolving.
As a net importer - we have a trade deficit with the EU - any tariffs we put on goods we import - if we choose to of course - could theoretically more than cover the cost of EU exports in terms of production subsidies, no?
This would also have the effect of making our goods cheaper to the rest of the (already tariffed) world, and to the people of Britain.
With the pound dropping, we are now a lot cheaper to buy from than prior to the Brexit vote. If we impose a tariff on our exports to the EU it will still be cheaper for them to buy from us that before the vote (ubtil the pound returns to the value minus the amount of tariff.
Glanghis, on a scale of loads to sh11t loads, how many times do you reckon you've asked people which laws that the EU have made do people disagree with?
I'd guess at 73.
As a net importer - we have a trade deficit with the EU - any tariffs we put on goods we import - if we choose to of course - could theoretically more than cover the cost of EU exports in terms of production subsidies, no?
---------------------------------------
There is zero percent chance the EU would accept import tariffs on their exports to the UK. The trade deal must be done with the EU as a block within two years. So it will in all likelihood be the deal the EU agree to give us as opposed to a "negotiation". The EU is the very definition of a procrustean bed, it is a question of how much leg you lose, not whether you get one pillow or two.

And a lot of people have answered all of them and then he posts a list of directives that any sensible government would have brought in themselves, but would have had a choice about it.
