The stated aim of the EU is to create the United States of Europe and eliminate national sovereignty. One nation, one government.

They've been working towards it for decades and have been accelerating recently.

Ultimately we'd have to get out or agree to that.

There are positives and negatives about being an EU member state.

I fear we have made the wrong decision which would have significant consequences including the end of GB as a union.

There is nothing wrong with change but people need plans and facts and figures.

The leave campaign provided none of this and people were fed lies.

It really is unfortunate

There is no plan for a European Superstate. There is no plan for a European army and these is no plan for any country to cede its sovereignty.

One thing I am noticing is a lot of far left political activists stirring up a lot of trouble on the back of the Brexit vote. I posted earlier, Channel 4 news have only used footage from English Defence League, BRitain First and far right rallies and used it as saying it is Leave voters. Its propeganda. The media and teaching professions (at all levels) are disproportionately left wing due to the left wing approach of trying to influence as many peolpe as possible whereas right wing people tend to go into business more, other than possibly the extremists.

A few years ago I became a union rep to help my fellow colleagues where I worked. I knew it would be left wing but the deliberate lies, smear campaigns and propeganda still shocked me. When I challenged the leaders on deliberate lying they said if they throw enough mud some will stick. Its exactly whats happening now. And to a degree scaremongering like is happening now becomes self fulfilling as people react to it.

Other way round. Brexit voters should get a rebate from the EU contributions that wont be made.

Of the £250m a week that we actually paid, we can pay the farmers, poor regions, etc the £70m they got from teh EU and the rest can be used for public services and to give the people who voted for it tax cuts.

Bremainers can pay more to reflect the extra taxes that would have ben needed for more bail outs of the likes of Greece.
