Boris may look like a clown, he is a very intelligent man. A Cambridge graduate, who turn the TfL into a profit making venture.
He is one of the best to lead this country in these circumstances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed, turning around a transport organisation which is heavily subsidised and still inefficient shows he can manage a country of 60 odd million people.

Boris may look like a clown - he is what he is.
he is a very intelligent man - ambitious yes
A Cambridge graduate - Oxford actually
who turn the TfL into a profit making venture - reducing the service level will of course generate profits. At the moment TFL re-invest all profits into better services thereby doesn't declare profits
He is one of the best to lead this country in these circumstances - he had no plan for the Brexit campaign he was championing, if he can't even lead the one cause he was championing, what makes you think he can lead a country with many different, sometimes conflicting causes?
You are a clown along with Johnson!
It is as if these people just post this stuff without thinking.

Nicky Morgan says she is 'actively considering' standing for leader of the Conservative Party on the Today programme.
On the EU, she says the crucial thing is access to the single market "and accepting that coming with that is some movement of people".
Ms Morgan insists "there is a positive case to made for immigration" and "we need a much better debate" about the issue.
Is she the 'four freedoms' candidate?
Nicky Morgan says she represents "a diverse community" in the Midlands and wants to recognise all the positive contributions immigrants have made.
It's put to her that her stance puts her out of step with much of the electorate who want immigration cut.
"I think what people wanted is control," and argues the country "already has that".

Yup, called it from day 1. People just voted to feck themselves over with nothing changing besides having a less say in the EU and losing the veto whilst still adhering to EU law
We seriously need to start giving people a test on knowledge of the issues before allowing them to cast a vote.

Safe to say a general election is on the cards because the electorate would not be happy that they were misled, again.
Now would be the time Labour should get its act together but look, they are being daft.
Do not be surprised to see this country elect a UKIP PM

I thought the remain campaign itself was sound enough. The in/out stuff couldn't/shouldn't have been divided along party lines. One cant help think the Labour coup is about more than the EU remain campaign.
I think we will see a lot of business now do what Vodafone have in the coming weeks: effectively tell the government that they need both access to the single market *and* freedom of movement.
If direct access to the market with restrictions on movement is ever on the cards (which I very much doubt), I think we will still see businesses threaten to relocate on the basis that the business community benefits greatly from free movement.
Whether they'd follow through with the threats is another matter...

You should. A break up of all we've built would be a terrible thing.
Scotland contributes a lot to the UK; defense (Trident), oil & significant contributions to our armed forces being three things. I for one would be said to see them leave, although if they voted for independence I'd respect their decision.

From the Beeb:
'The firm employs 13,000 people in the UK. It has an operating division at Newbury, Berkshire, but the group headquarters are in London.
Vodafone said that 55% of group profits in the last financial year came from its European operations, with the UK providing just 11%. The company is also to start reporting its financial results in euros, rather than pounds.
Vodafone said the single legal framework spanning all member states, as well as freedom of movement, capital and goods, were "integral to the operation of any pan-European business".'
