ioag, yeah I think he is. Arab’s mentioned before that he has some issues with mental health. So I don’t want to put him down for that because it’s an area I’m very experienced, and conscious, of but he comes across as very hard work. I’ve had a few conversations with him, and know a bit from what arab had said, and he comes from the Troubles in Ireland. Not something I can ever understand, so that’s obviously shaped him.

AEK Athens had three players sent off in the space of 3 1/2 minutes of their Greek Cup semifinal return leg against Aris Thessaloniki tonight.

The first was the team captain, sent off for a second bookable offence, on the stroke of 120 minutes.

The second, also for a second yellow, was the player who received the armband off him. He captained the side for a grand total of 59 seconds.

The third also got sent off - second yellow for obstructing a free kick in the opposition half - on 123:29.

The ref had originally announced just 2 minutes injury time and AEK held a 2-goal cushion.

I think if the club have been actively looking to build the squad in the way they have, they’d be looking at a manager that is more likely to fit.

To be honest, I don’t mind some short term thinking if we are going to be entertaining. I think some people, United fans in particular, obsess over long term thinking too much.

I think it’s really arrogant to think a club, and manager, can succeed over better run clubs and managers by doing it long term when they’ve failed with the easier short term objectives.
