Partey’s an interesting one. On a football level, it doesn’t make sense moving to Arsenal right now. I don’t watch Atleti much, as they make my eyes bleed, but he look very good from what I’ve seen and obviously has a grate reputation. Him and Depay could be excellent signings for Arsenal.
Though I wonder how Partey will do outside of Atleti. Not many players that leave do well, and it’s hard to know true value of a defensive mid in a Simeone team when they play with three others.
We need a goalscorer in midfield aswell as Partey tbh.

The reason we play quite conservatively is because we have zero athleticism and power in midfield. This has been the case for nearly a decade but we have no craft now either.
Partey would change that. He's underrated on the ball too. Not seen this Szobzolai fella play, but it seems he has good attacking qualities and a relatively low RC.
I'd honestly be happy if these were our only signings (or players of this profile if we can't get those two).

I mean I think Fernandes was a signing dumb as well, but I would hate to think of his reaction towards us signing a promising fullback who had the name ‘Messi’ or ‘Ronaldo’

I actually agree about the hiring and firing. So many of our fans, and apparently people at the club, seem to be of the opinion that time will just heal the problems.
If we were more ruthless and not as stupid with appointments, the problems wouldn’t get so bad in the first place.
