Good result for Sevilla. At what stage would they face Wolves, or hasn't the Europa done the draw that way?

Next round if Wolves go through. Then us if we beat Copenhagen.

That is the American President. I have to punch myself every time to make sure I’m not dreaming. I feel like I’m in a South Park episode a lot of the time.

Yeah. I feel privileged to have lived in such a ridiculous period in history.

Madrid living dangerously with their passing out from the back.

Rube in a bit of bother.

Out with a whimper, as expected.

Madrid were very poor. Thought Zidane got the line up wrong. It was too slow a team, especially in midfield. City are vulnerable from counters but Madrid how no counter attacking threat. Hazard really looks a shadow of the player he was at Chelsea.

Surprised how poor Varane was

Valverde should've played, but long and short of it is that we are still a fairly pedestrian side. It's probably going to take time to get back in the mix for the CL.

yes i agree with valverde starting in midfield

should have played vinicius too....up front not enough pace...hazard was non-existent

You need pace and strong runners to unsettle City. Dunno what Zidane was thinking with that team.

yeah , his starting line up really surprised me

that he didnt make changes until really late was odd

and not even playing vinicius at all in a match like that was weird

Yeah it was strange. City were easily the better team, but you made their job a lot easier than it needed to be. Varane invoked his inner Phil Jones today.

He put too much stock in experience. It happens. Hopefully he learns from this. The team needs to move on.

I’m surprised by that as Zidane has had faith in younger players. Particularly Valverde.

Will probably be a couple of years before Madrid look like real CL contenders again. Mbappe will be the game changer.

Yeah, but a CL ko night where you're chasing a home leg deficit, you could be forgiven for thinking that experience is your best chance. I fully agree there was a lack of legs and was disappointed with the line-up, but lots of managers have made this same mistake. The main thing is to learn from them and not persist with the errors.
