Embrace them as your pets, develop technology to harness their Industry like Hank Pym..

Otherwise I guess you should just get some antpoison and use it responsibly..

Lads I’ve got an ant infestation in my flat and I’ve no idea where they’re coming from, anyone got any tips on how to kill the little mites?

If 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids' taught me anything, it's that Scorpions are pretty effective.

A wind of change is coming for these ants

Lots of petrol and a lighter should do the trick.

China is both a global renewables leader and a heavy coal user.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine how much worse it would be, if they were as indifferent to renewables as other wester societies
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I actually broadly agree with you Insert - there is also an excellent free market case for renewables, its an energy source that has become cheaper and more efficient through innovation and serious private financing - alongside subsidies of course,

Pick up one of these from any DIY/hardware type store. Any brand - doesn’t matter which. Open up the tabs and drop it near the trail.

They’ll be gone in 24 hours and you probably won’t see them again.

Also, don’t be tempted to buy a can of Raid spray or any similar shyyte. Toxic as feck to all types of animals and won’t deal with the problem at root.

Just one of those little boxes will do ^

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Meh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In terms of the climate cascade this is pretty serious.

Its getting to a point where even meeting our climate goals wont halt the runaway change because too many of the natural systems of cooling are gone.

Arctic sea ice is integral because it reflects out so much heat, Any melt affects us twofold, because theres not only less reflectivity, but deep sea absorbs a lot of heat.

I know you think we are going to be white knighted by some mythical carbon capture technology, But thats no reason for complacency in preventing these changes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you can call human innovation mythical but I look at what we have already created in a very short space of time and I have faith.

The trouble I face is that too much of these alarming news stories are hyperbolised and so many predictions have not come true that it just comes to ‘meh’ for me.

Finally, this biggest problem is that developing nations require cheap energy to grow, so until hugely populated countries like India and China have sustainable & affordable energy, this won’t stop.

Clean air or starving people? Personally I choose starving people to prioritise.

Yeah okay, Candace. You sound just like her. "I dont litter so MMCC cant be true".Weren't you complaining a couple if weeks ago that Russia was more innovative than "the west" because they invented hypersonic missiles while the west argued about pronouns.

NEW: A second foreign office whistleblower says it was "widespread knowledge" that Boris Johnson directly approved evacuation of cats and dogs with Nowzad charity from Kabul - which he has denied.

Josie Stewart, who has worked for FCDO since 2015 incl in Kabul Embassy, says she saw messages on Microsoft Teams, heard in discussed in crisis centre incl by senior civil servants and was copied in numerous emails which "clearly suggested this".

Lol not really. It was a meme mocking the west for building gender neutral toilets whilst Russia was building hypersonic missiles.

I sound like Candace? Ok if you say so.

I'm told by Govt sources that it's "looking unlikely" that Boris Johnson will be invited to European Council meeting in Brussels on Thursday. Some anger there about what the PM did/ didn't mean by his remarks in Blackpool...

Biden is going but the greatest leader the world has ever seen is, rightly, being blanked. What an embarrassment this Conservative leader is for this country.
