For all of those panicking about the scale of UK national debt, net debt to GDP is around 96%.

As Trump signs his Big Beautiful Budget Bill into law, adding $3tn of debt to the pile and introducing multiple measures which will seriously hurt US productivity, US net debt to GDP stands at around 124%.

If he's standing in a corner on his own, I would hope because he's singled out for some karma. DOGE cost the lives of 51 more people including a further 15 kids on his rap sheet for something that could have been prevented with advanced warning.

Doesn't affect me but I hope the American people wakes up to this, I would say hapless, but is deliberately destructive administration.

They’ve lost a lot in revenue in having tour dates cancelled. Streaming and even album downloads don’t deliver a huge amount of revenue nowadays unless you’re consistently doing huge numbers (Spotify barely pays the majority of artists on their shiiiithouse platform, and only around one in every 200 makes upwards of US$10,000 p/a from them (which is facking diabolical when you consider that Spotify has basically replaced album sales revenue; US$2,500 each barely supports a hobby for a four piece band). For a band like Bob Vylan, money is to be made in live shows.

I think the streaming figures are another example of how people are starting to challenge authority though, particularly on the genocide in Gaza; and starting to support those who do the same. With all due respect to Bob, they aren’t at the forefront of British punk or hip-hop.

Instagram has also been absolutely flooded with posts supporting Palestine Action over the weekend, which now potentially carries a prison sentence of up to 14 years. Labour MPs are struggling in their constituencies and the BBC is facing a big public backlash as well. There’s a real groundswell of rage across the British public now against the ongoing UK support for Netanyahu’s massacres, far beyond the ‘radical left’, ‘crusties’ and ‘Islamists’.
