Lukaku spent one season at Chelsea in which he was too young to be given more than a handful of playing opportunities. He then had two successful years on loan with two different PL clubs before deciding he didn't want to return to Chelsea and left permanently. Where's the failure there?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In not being successful. I just told you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're really trying too hard to copy VC here.
There's a difference between not succeeding and failing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not succeeding means you haven't done well. Failure means you did badly. Lukaku never failed at Chelsea because he never really played for Chelsea so he never had the chance to play badly for them. Morata is a player who has actually failed at Chelsea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's like saying Kakuta didnt fail.
Morata already has more trophies in England than Lukaku. So does Charlie Adam for that matter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kakuta failed because Chelsea gave up on him and let him leave. Chelsea never gave up on Lukaku, they wanted him to stay and be a part of the squad. He didn't, he chose to leave.
Can you not see the difference?

Tbf that comment about Chelsea was a VERY good impersonation of a deluded United fan. Was it a million or billion years he said and we wouldn't be a 10th of United's size? We already are depending on your criteria, took us less than 10
We'll see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea struggle though, performances under Sarri are definitely declining while United are getting better.
