You are allowed to travel from England and wee Nic's nonsense will be well out the window come the beginning of August.
Then you'll all be blaming her for huge job losses, business closures and no further furlough payments.
Isn't that right?

i blame her for letting u back in.
Would this be happening in the deila years? with tarps covering sections of the stadium?
would it f... at a time the stadium was half empty (because more people cared about rangers than celtic) they could give everyone a hunner quid off.
then the lack of announcements on refunds, postage and cheques when they could easily do it online.
imotherwell are offering a far better option ffs, motherwell!

One way of thinking through it as that we are on the upward curve of getting out of this pandemic and that in the not too distant future fans can go back. There is of course the flip side that could see a huge second and third and fourth wave of this pandemic sending everything back into lockdown (if you believe some scientists - I never have).
---------------------------------------
I reckon they're be a second (smaller) wave of this come winter time - unless a vaccine is produced.
As the weather worsens and more people are in close contact with each other indoors i.e. in pubs, concerts, cinemas, schools and to an extent football stadiums, the conditions are better for an increase in infections.
Even if there are social distancing restrictions in place, people will be far less likely to adhere to them by then - not that they were particularly great at adhering in the last wee while either

My real opinion is that as a PLC we have to protect the share owners its that simple tbh, any other decision is corporate mismanagement and border line illegal. Its hard to stomach at times but football is a business and unlike other businesses it has a very unusual set of circumstances not least its fanbase. You have to remember that not all but some fans eat, breath and live for their clubs as a Chairman or CEO that is as very unusual business situation. I will make one statement and call me out if you disagree with any of this! " behind the scenes and off the pitch the people who have been running Celtic have put us in a position where despite the finance in our game we are healthy, and pushing for 10 titles. It is as much a credit to them as the players, playing staff, and fans that we find ourselves in this situation. This is historic, and its due in many ways to the businessmen"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that is mostly bollix. Whilst there will be a certain acknowledgement to some shareholders it is a much simpler market driven decision of supply and demand imho.
Is it so different to Apple - fanboys lining up on launch day to buy the latest anything in the belief it will be better than the last anything so they charge a premium for the privilege? Yes, that rewards the shareholders but don't think it is the first thought?
Most CEOs I've known have thought the same way. Too many influences over share prices that cannot be controlled. Do your best and the share price will be what it is. Credit rating is way more important as that influences borrowing costs.

And cash at hand
Just my opinion but I don't see a second wave impacting us
The whole point of isolation was to let the virus die out in it's hosts (maybe not best use of the word die but you get my point) which takes 2-3 weeks. My gut feel is that we have all had it or will get it and how we cope with it is different.
Winter will see the usual winter bugs and sadly deaths which many will suddenly think is the coronavirus back. It may be that some have weaker immune systems as a result of having had coronavirus but by next spring we will be back to normal and social distancing will be a social media memory
And we will have sealed 10 in a row by the start of April

Filth.
I think in the shorter term we'll have localised recurrences of the virus rather than huge national outbreaks, which is why a good track and trace system is important. That would then allow us to get back to a sense of normality with the minimum level of disruption, although it does require people to isolate when contacted and I think public adherence to this is waning dramatically.
Without track and trace - and without us as a public giving up some of our civil liberties as a result as we'll need to allow the government to have access to our movements - I think we'll struggle to stop a second wave.

The death rate in Brazil is worrying given that they are southern hemisphere and in their coldest months.
And given that 90% of the world's population is in the Northern Hemisphere, the cold months here could be grim.

So many football clubs are managed horribly behind the scenes and eventually it reflects on the park, Leeds, Newcastle, Sunderland, Cardiff, Rangers, Dundee all down the years to name but a few.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You might as well add us to that list pre-Fergus.
And let's not confuse fiscal prudence with good management. The former is very easy but debilitating. The latter is altogether more difficult.
Rodgers revolutionised things. Not just in 1st team 'management'. The whole ethos took a lift. It cost money and I am of the opinion that the resistance to continuing with that accelerated the departure. I could give myriad examples.

Even the south doesn't see anything like freezing.
I was an advocate of the isolation and lockdown decisions and agree that the Scot Gov are taking the appropriate steps while being mindful of the economy. Any more lockdown and we'd have nothing to go back to.
There have been a few things I've disagreed with such as the 2 week isolation after arriving in the UK - we are 2 months too late to do that, we have the worst rate in Europe so other countries are more likely to do that to us and not the other way round..
However, the isolation piece is done. As soon as Cummings was excused by the government and statements of we just don't understand the rules then that was it, the floodgates were open and huge crowds were going to be unstoppable and unenforceable.
I agree that Scotland was right to hold back a bit longer as at the time our R rating was higher and I think the decrease in cases and deaths in Scotland is testament to that appropriate decision.
