It’s scary how easy people get sucked in by this stuff. I have a distant relative on my Facebook who in March was spending her days shopping for the elderly and vulnerable and helping so many people. Now all I see her sharing is stuff about how famous people eat kids??? Like how do you even start to believe this stuff.

The same people who think it's all one massive conspiracy also think the Governments are incompetent too.
Do people really think Johnson and Co are capable of being in on a conspiracy with the mess they've made of things? Now, if they have deliberately looked bad to throw us off the scent then that would be genius as it's worked for me!
One theory I have heard is that the global governments know climate change is gonna hit hard soon and unleashed this as a test run on how to control an entire population.
While I don't agree that it was "unleashed", I do think governments will be taking notes on various aspects of lockdown for non virus related issues.
People should just be honest and admit they don't like being told what to do especially if it inconveniences them. No need to make up $hit
Likewise had to delete someone off social media because she kept posting theories and videos from this doctor, and would use it as proof whilst urging people to think for themselves.
Worst part was if you googled the doctor's name, it turned out he was a disgraced former doctor who had lost his medical license for unlawful practices and treatments on patients.
The Bill gates rubbish - thinking a guy who (rightfully) reckons vaccinating people in African countries will make them healthier and eventually lead to less reliance of families needing loads of kids to support the family and thus stopping exponential population growth reaching unsustainable levels is actually a eugenist who seeks to make loads of money off this.

That is dodgy AF though, why did he choose the continent of Africa to 'test' his vaccines out, they're humans, not lab rats instead of anywhere else and before you say it, Africa is not this cesspool of a continent, rife with every disease possible that we are constantly fed through our TV's. They don't need his vaccines to help them, they have or at least had all the natural ingredients to live healthy lives in the first place.

It's frustrating that some people put more trust in some YouTube confidence trickster than scientists and geneticists who have spent years studying immunology and virology etc. They and their peer reviewed findings can get dismissed as quackery, in favour of some unqualified moron ranting about sheeple and waking up.

I see these conspiracy theorists (they never call themselves that, of course) saying stuff like "I've been researching this stuff for 30 years". They are the experts, apparently. I've got a couple on my Facebook page (people I've never met in real life) and I've tinkered with the idea of deleting them but find it vaguely fascinating as well as irritating.

Is Bill Gates testing vaccines on people? No, he's enabling the distribution of clinically tested vaccines to people who would otherwise have no access to them, where this kind of philanthropy is most needed: in the poorest continent on earth, with the lowest life expectancy.
In other news: that guy who invented the smallpox vaccine which basically eradicated the horrendous disease and saved tens of millions of lives was worse than Hitler.
