The essence of the story is that upon return and the notification of a player testing positive, Celtic had previously had authorised the seating plan and space allocation which would have meant 2 more players self isolating.
The government were unhappy about the trip and said as it was foreign travel they would implement a 4m spacing rule which rendered the whole of the front cabin having to isolate. Hence the numbers.
They were also told if they kicked up a fuss the government would close the game down completely.

So that would rule Duffy out.

Just listened to the full thing on sportsound it's actually worse than the clips and the edited quotes in press are doing him huge favours.
One very worrying thing he said though was Celtic are using lateral flow tests. That can't be right surely.
Has he just got confused?
The correct protocol is supposed to be lamp tests followed by a lab test for any positives.
If they are using lateral flow that's really not great.
