Does feel like Compton, Brook and Parkinson in for Crawley, Bairstow and Leach, and we could have the makings of a decent team.

Definitely need to get another opener and spinner in for next test, Foakes should also be moved up possibly

I don't reckon there'll be many changes for the next Test, probably none. They should take a good hard look at things at the end of the series though.

Don’t be so pessimistic

Should be straightforward to bat out the rest of the day even without Root

Stokes will be keen England try to win though. Put pressure back on the bowlers and all that and hope they spread the field etc.

Losing Root means I can't see us winning this but if we need 200 from 40 then we will give it a go unless we are 6ish down.

He has looked better since he's become more aggressive and positive. He's doing the Crawley role far better than Crawley.
