Yeah i think I just tweaked my MCL. It’s fine really just hurts if I try kick a ball really hard (especially if I don’t make clean contact)

Hyperextension injuries hurt like fack, and ligaments take forever to heal because they have rubbish blood supply
One guy in my football team, jumped up to hoof a ball - missed it completely and tore his MCL, Miniscus and ACL on landing. Was out for like a year and a half.

I'd imagine you could probably hear that from the next county. Surprisingly loud when knee ligaments go. I think a meniscus tear would be audible too

I’d like to congratulate Amanda on his/her/them’s gracious response to Edin’s passive aggressiveness
Was a bad game that, first 5 mins someone stood on my ankle as I twisted it (ballooned for like a month). Then he went and did that, then in the dying moments one of the guys landed on the floor and snapped his forearm bones clean thru and it went all floppy.
We were 3-0 down at the time and it was the 82nd minute and decided to call it

Ouch. My mate slipped on a bottle dancing in a club and tore his ACL, got up and carried on drinking & dancing. Wasn’t til he woke up the next morning it became apparent he was facked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he managed to walk to the hospital after.
@amanda - it was heard to hear anything amidst his screaming

My name is literally "A man to hug and kiss."
...I usually respond to "oi you caaant" though
I broke my metatarsal in 2 places during a cup game once. We were 1-0 up and had used all our subs so I played the last 10 mins or so.
Went to the hospital the next day 🤦♂️

I was once playing football and was through on goal, keeper came flying out on his knees all Schmeicel like and I went to knock the ball over him into the net but he saved it with his face. The ball was quite an old school tatty one, and he seemed to be making a meal of being hit in the face with it. Turned out a bit of leather had gone through his lower eyelid and got stuck - was the weirdest thing. He had to go straight off to A&E and they removed it and stitched his eyelid, was lucky not to lose an eye!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ouch! I bet he wished you’d just finished properly and put the ball in the back of the net.

Trod on a bottle at a party once. I was barefoot cos I'd been splashing about with a lass. Predictably enough the bottle smashed, cut into the sole of my foot. Got it sewn up by some goooon of a nurse who stuck the anaesthetic needle into the open wound and didn't clean it out properly, so when I went to get the stitches out it turned out he'd sewn it shut with mud and grass inside, so a chunk of flesh had died and started to rot. They cut it off with a pair of scissors

A cornerstone of GN
You know, I've never enjoyed lying in bed with any woman any where near to the girl I saw the most in Cambodia. I just loved being in bed with her. From the first night we slept together, it just stood out as feeling so comfortable, and I came to love the feel of her body against mine.
The girl I slept with the other night, was....well, she rolled into my arms after sxe for me to hold her. It should have felt nice. But it was just annoying. The one today, god almighty I am so grateful she went when she did.
There were a couple of others in Cambodia I quite liked having in my bed, but most I was at best ambivalent about, and none came close to my number one girl who in the end broke my heart so badly that I would cry in my sleep.
