Trod on a bottle at a party once. I was barefoot cos I'd been splashing about with a lass. Predictably enough the bottle smashed, cut into the sole of my foot. Got it sewn up by some goooon of a nurse who stuck the anaesthetic needle into the open wound and didn't clean it out properly, so when I went to get the stitches out it turned out he'd sewn it shut with mud and grass inside, so a chunk of flesh had died and started to rot. They cut it off with a pair of scissors

They don’t know the badger was ‘desperately’ searching for food. They’ve made that up to dramatize it.

That’s also not the actual badger they claimed to have found the coins, in the photo

That’s also not the actual badger they claimed to have found the coins, in the photo

They don't even know it's a badger. First they call it a badger, then they refer to it as an animal, then they say it MIGHT be a badger.

Yeah, not my whole foot.

That bit was fine though, it was just a thumbnail-sized lump of the sole of my foot, and the nerves were all dead so I couldn't feel it. The really bad bit was the needle getting jammed into the open wound. I'd had a skinful but faaack, I still felt it

I often read these sheit clickbait Men’s Health articles about ‘I started eating 3 eggs in the morning’ or ‘I tried doing 100 press-ups a day’ and it has no before or after stats, or how different they feel or look etc. I have no idea why I still click on it.

Done 100 pressups(mostly wide) a day for two or three months in 2012(i was dabbling in a theory called signalling), by end i could do one handed pressups. Chest got a good bit bigger as did brachialis, folk did comment have you been doing pressups. I was still a fat mess, as two bottles of wine a day is 1500 cals, you cant fight against.

Do you mean brachioradialis? That's the forearm one. It'd be very weird if your brachialis got bigger doing push ups.

The brachialis is a muscle under the short head of your biceps. It helps with elbow flexion (ie. curling weight up) and shouldn't really have anything to do with pushing motions (which are all chest, front delts and triceps really). If your brachialis gets bigger it makes your biceps look wider and fuller.
