Its pretty obvious why we signed Longstaff. Farke wants to play three in midfield. So we need about five midfielders to cover injuries etc. All will get a game.
I remember last time we were in the prem half the time our bench was filled with kids who should have been nowhere near the team.
Newcastle supporting mate says Longstaff they called Longstiff because his movement was abysmal, doesn’t rate him. Season ticket holder.
Add to that skirt wearing walking sicknote, more interested in shaving his armpits for a razor advert DCL, I’d say not the greatest window so far, we’ve a few giants in defence to look forward to, so maybe we just need a great set peice taker

That money should have be spent on those incredibly hard to buy special signings not the likes of Longstaff

Anyone got a spare pair of size 9's, prefer not coloured as a bit old school.
Mates daughter works in the fashion industry and did a shoot with DCL and shes fairly liberal but said he was a Grade A weapon.

😂 That did make me chuckle....if you don't laugh you'll cry as I'm trying to remain positive and think it can't get any worse but it's Leeds we're talking about so I'm fully prepared for all scenarios and keeping everything crossed that next Monday evening 10 pm this will all be
forgotten about and all our concerns were unwarranted.
I have to keep reminding myself: the window isn't shut.
Yet.
I was always happy with Amps, Rodon, Bogle, DJ, and
Tanaka as the basis of our Champo to Prem squad.
When you add in Perri, Bijol, Gudmundson, and the
bloke that may well turn many heads this season in
Stach, it's not a bad starting XI. Add in Gnonto and
it's not sh * t. It will compete. Will it keep us up?
Not convinced.
Does DCL change my mind? Nope.
However (and we all know this), add a 10/8 creative
player, add a true goal scorer (if it comes down to
Sargent or Mitrovic...give me Mitrovic), add a LW
(hopefully someone better than Solomon...but if all
we can get is Solomon...fine), and get the full back
cover Farke keeps asking for, maybe we'll be okay.
Maybe.
For me, recruitment team have two weeks to add 4
to 5 new players. If two are loans, no worries. Once
that window slams shut, see where we are. Still might
not be great. We'll know where we are though.

Didn't say I agreed with it just explaining the rationale behind it.
DCL - There's parallels with Paddy, a couple of good seasons clouded by ongoing injury concerns. Can't get excited but have to go with it he becomes our player.

One hard luck striker in.
I hope he does the job but I have my doubts.
