Wanderers v Baggies match thread

Stadium: Stadium of LightWhen: on 28/4/12

Made the trip to the Hawthornes in November. A 2-1 defeat flattered us, even though their opening goal was offside. We were fine first half, didn't turn up for the second half. This was the team that day: Jaaskelainen, Riley, Wheater, Cahill, Robinson, Eagles (Petrov 68), Reo-Coker, Muamba (Kakuta 80), M Davies, K Davies (Ngog 68), Klasnic.

Our last home game against the Baggies was Boxing Day 2010, we won 2-0 thanks to goals from Taylor and Elmander but it was daylight robbery. The team that day was: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson (Ricketts 64), Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Chung-Yong (Klasnic 80), Holden, Muamba (Mark Davies 76), Taylor, Kevin Davies, Elmander.

If only we could call on the likes of Cahill, Muamba, Holden, Taylor and Elmander today.

We're all down in the dumps after being completely outplayed by Spurs on Wednesday, we need a huge performance from everyone in the white shirt today, I am concerned that this is the 4th game in 15 days.

A great day and we will be all but safe pending a major shock at the Etihad on the last day.

A nightmare day and we will be relegated bar a goal difference miracle.

Current relegation odds - expect these to change significantly at FT
Villa - 20/1
Wigan - 20/1
Wanderers - 10/11
QPR - 10/11
Blackburn - 1/33

Wanderers and QPR are the same odds at many bookmakers, where there is a slight preference between the two, QPR are favourites to go down.

Match odds
Wanderers Evens
The Draw 12/5
Baggies 11/4

Other important fixtures
Newcastle United v Manchester City - possible implications for the final day for us
Aston Villa v Tottenham
QPR v Stoke (QPR 5/6, The Draw 5/2, Stoke 100/30)
Blackburn v Wigan (Monday)

Our predictions
Wanderers 11
The Draw 6
Baggies 2

"you cannot question the effect of our results"

Yes I can HH, that's the whole point..

We've been terrible with Ream, Wheater, Ricketts - whoever... I'm not being rude, because I know you're not daft and a good lad... IT'S HIS TACTICS THAT COST US ALL THESE GOALS AND LACK OF GOALS UP FRONT.

He's a disaster when setting up to beat a team, and a complete disaster when changing a team during a match... Week in, week out we've argued all season.. To say his points total has improved his grasping at straws... Even that figure is nothing exciting! We had a transfer window and enough games to get out of this... HE is to blame...

Sorry, you won't change my mind mate..

Im not trying to change your mind MT,

you are of course allowed your opinion, and yours is as equally valid as mine.

Just explaining my reasoning.. and i think that my reasoning is pretty fair.

Even though that figure is nothing exciting, our form over the last 21 games is a higher points per game average since we had Allardyce in charge.

When we havent got alot of injuries, and its more than just Lee and Holden(but they are the main ones), we are capable of being atleast a mid-table team, unfortunately i think that our up-turn in form came way too late..

Anyway, back to Men in Black.

Missed the game as away on southern Portugal but i think I have seen this game before chaps.Hate to say it but I hope the penny is starting to drop about Coyle.Total miss management from a nice bloke completely out of his depth.Ten years of progress wiped out, maybe we will never return!.
