Why Arsenal will win nothing with Wenger is really simple. He doesn't do defence.
Take yesterday for just one example ( there are loads more). All of Norwich's goals were the results of our laziness, ineptitude, arrogance, unable to keep the ball. Norwich's 3rd goal typical of goals conceded by Arsenal in the final minutes of a game. Over elaboration, instead of the simple pass.
.How on earth we can't hold on to a lead with just 5 minutes remaining beggars belief? Well, that's because Wenger doesn't do defence. And untill he does, Arsenal will win nothing, zilch.
With Pat Rice retiring, the post of Wenger's assistant is vacant. I wonder if Steve Bould will be promoted. Tony Adams was rejected.
Those two know a bit about defending I'd say.And who could forget Martin Keown's contribution in Europe in 2006?
Anyway, thanks for reading the article U1248

^^^ we dont do 4hrs of training a day a 1 hr tops, in spain you can have extended training with youngsters whilst in england its different.
I'm quite amazed that you know so much about Arsenals training. It would be a lot better if you werent sitting behind a keyboard typing out lies, pretending that you are some kind of footballing expert.
___
i never said i was a expert but when ex players have said about the club its makes you think. Even liverpools ex club doctor has told me that we aint as fit as we should be.

Some deficiencies in defence can certainly be blamed on injuries but only some. Some of the players mentioned are really good footballers indeed, but, but, they need to be coached in the right way
The following defence
.. . .Lehman...................
Eboue.Toure.Senderos Flamini
Served us well during our European campaign season 2005/2006. Achieving the most clean sheets before and since the ECL was formed.
Eboue was clown, Toure excellent, Senderos ?,well Senderos was Senderos: The way he was booed by the Emirates subsequently was pretty harsh. Flamini only came into his own in that his last season with us.
So on paper not that impressive, right. But they had great coaching from a certain Martin Keown.
I think that say's it all really. So, it's coaching, coaching and more coaching that's needed. Preferably by an expert

Yeah and that was only 8 years ago, football has changed since then but Wenger hasn't.
---
Jesus christ you talk such crap.
The reason our defensive record has become poor is because Wenger -has- changed his philosophy. He's been trying to build a team that retains the ball with a high defensive line. This is completely different to the teams he build 8 years ago.
The problem is it almost, but hasn't worked, and since we lost 2 of our main ball retainers, cesc and samir, our defensive record has rightly suffered.
The game did move on with rich owners buying the title, if you think Arsenal can keep up with that any more than they have done then you're a complete idiot. Clowns like you just bury your heads in the sand and think that because he built winning teams there's an automatic expectation that good times will continue to roll at the club.

Wenger has changed to a 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 formation but he still hasn't mastered the pressing game which is the most essential element of that formation.
Here are some stats to prove how we've been getting progressively worse year by year:
Man City – 27
Man Utd – 33
Liverpool – 38
Everton – 39
Spurs – 40
Chelsea – 41
Sunderland – 43
Newcastle – 46
West Brom – 47
Arsenal – 47
2007/8 – 31 goals
2008/9 – 37 goals
2009/10 – 41 goals
2010/11 – 43 goals
2011/12 – 47 goals (one more game to go)
Time to take your head out of your ass, Don Vito.

Yes he hasn't mastered the pressing game, his flaw. Glad you went back on your original statement though and pointed out that he has changed in the last 8 years, stupidest statement I've ever read, it makes me wonder whether you were even around 8 years ago.
I'm not sure what you're trying to show me with your stats, since I already pointed out it hasn't worked. I disagreed that he hasn't changed, now you're trying to make a different point altogether because you've been shown up as an idiot
Time to take your head out of your ass kiddo.

Football has changed in the sense that managers are tactically much more aware now and Wenger is made to look like a dinosaur too often when he comes up against tactically astute managers.

It would be better if you actually backed that up with something rather than just stating it. I might as well just say "no" in response and it would be as solid an argument.
