Wimbledon Tickets

You all know what happened to me at last year's Wimbers ...
This year:

I tried the ballot and didn't win anything.

I tried my local club - nothing.

I tried my mate from Bisham - he was on a business trip so late for the tickets there.

Just wonder if anybody has/or knows somebody who has any spare tickets for sale (it would obviously have to be debenture ones)?
Ideally either first or second Monday for Centre court.

Had a look on Ebay and official Wimbers site, people only sell them in pairs

not particularly SB. But she loves the Wimbledon atmosphere.

She woudl typically root for Fed but thinks Nadal is cute though (but much prefer Federer's sense of dressing and body). You know with women the physical side is very important...a bit like us when we mention the womens game I guess. I don't think she would recognise who Djoko is cause she only watches a bit of tennis once a year.

Unacceptable! And you're telling me you two live under the same roof?

Just about! The good thing is that she really dislikes those bodybuilding bodies and falling shoulders such as Nadal. Which is as well cause I don;t have those body building muscles either.

The thing NITB is that when people don;t know about the sport, the first thing they pay attention to is physique, charisma. I also look at those in a player but I do make the link between teh way they look and their tennis style....And the physique comforts my view of what I see on the court.

For instance when I see a big player like Murray having pain to walk smoothly so much his leg muscles seem foreign to him, and that despite his big frame he chooses to over spin the ball (play safe) and retrieve despite having teh typical frame to be an attacking player a la Soderling/Berdych, it tells me a lot about his guts (or lack of).

He may still have the right choice cause he may not have achieved as much had he chosen the attacking route. We don;t know. He certainly feels more comfy winning from the back retrieving anything those those top 10 and below players sent at him.

If he uses so much intelligence and skills, how come he is constantly injured?

Nadal is constantly injured- you see him as a bad player??

Yes I see Nadal as a very bad player and Murray a much better one...even if their records say otherwise.

Are you saying that Nadal plays a lot with his mind? Do you think when he chases a ball towards his right side, his "brilliant mind" might suggests to run towards his left side? DO you see Nadal as being one step ahead of his opponent?

Listen he just looks at the ball with fear it doesn't pass him and runs towards it and makes sure he brings it back with teh safest possible margins.

That's Nadal's game. His power and stamina makes sure he does that very well....hence why he has been injured....though frankly he has very good doctors and I am not sure he has been as half injured as he says he has.
