Victor Moses

It's official that we've made a bid for Victor Moses however, it wasn't enough. Dave Whelan said Moses owes Wigan & Martinez for improving him as a player but Moses's agent disagreed. Moses apparently wants a move to Chelsea. . The question is whether his a good enough player for us. IMO I think his not good enough for Chelsea, he'll be a squad player at best. If he does join then I'm assuming it's to replace Malouda/Sturridge, I hope it's Malouda as I want Sturridge to stay. I personally would prefer us to give Kakuta a chance than signing Moses, so I'm against this move but what do you make of it?, Is Moses a good buy and would he improve us?

Moses would be good because he is a direct winger, which is something we haven't got. So he could be brought on to change the game, like Kalou used to do.

Kakuta doesn't have better potential than Moses, but thats just my opinion. Thats also why i see the appeal to Moses SDS, he's a direct player which is what we're lacking and we could use him along with Marin to add something different.

TP, that happens with a lot of our players tbh

I wouldn't mind he is a good player, young, premier league proven, wouldn't cost that much. Good idea

Wish people would stop talking about Kakuta like he is ever going to make it! He is the same age as Hazard and only 2 and 3 years younger than Marin and Mata respectively! He is behind all of them in the pecking order and has shown nothing to say that he can get anywhere near them. Do you really think he will wait until these have moved on to get his chance?
He didn't get the game time when loaned out to prem teams and there must be a reason? For me Moses would be a better option than both Sturridge and Kakuta

Moses does that Sideshow

RC every player develops differently. Drogba, Wright, Klose, Ribery etc. all late bloomers. When you compare Kakuta to Hazard, who's been a regular since his teens, is useless. Same as comparing him to Mata, no one has ever said he's as good as him yet. And you also say like its somehow bad for a 20 year old player to be behind Hazard, Marin and Mata in the pecking order it's a squad game.

He has said constantly that he wants to return to Chelsea, and play there, even as a squad player so I think he would be here long term if he was good enough. He was the victim of poor management at Fulham and Bolton. When he actually started he played well, and was a dangerous player, but the next game he'd be unceremoniously dropped, a scenario we've seen alot with young players at Chelsea in the past few years as well.

Thats what he needs then, football every week, not a backup at chelsea.
