Brook v Jones

Really looking forward to this fight, hoping Kell stops him and sends a message to the rest of the division, Jones is not a world class opponent but is certainly a good boxer and a tricky boxer and will provide a real test for our man brook. I've always said Brook is the next big thing and i'm glad his finally fighting some proper opponents and just hope he continues his rise in the division, quality boxer and has every skill necessary. Hopefully in a few years he will batter Khan as well.

Go on the brook !!!!
Thoughts/Predictions?

Looking forward to the fury fight as well his fights are always exciting, interested to see if he keeps the new style he used last time or goes back to trying to get in a brawl and leaving himself wide open to get knocked down by nobodies furys a good guy though.

Why come onto the thread just to hate? Because you have the same bitterness as you accuse others of having?

I am not a great fan of either Khan or Brook, both have great faults, and there are far better fighters than both. Doesn't mean I have to come onto threads with negativity in the way you have.

This suggests bitterness. You just want to hate.

Talk about contradicting yourself. Happy to have a go at me and continue to ignore others.

This is a forum believe it or not and if I feel Brooks opponent was no good as many outside the Brook circuit believe he wasn't then that's my opinion. If people want to have a go at Khan in a none related Khan thread I am more than entitled to respond.

I am not ignoring others, it is you who called them bitter.

I am just pointing out the hypocritical stance you are taking.

Saying that I was not impressed with Brook is hardly being hypocritical is it? Read the first reponse to this post and you will see that I get my predication right. Had this performance been against a Maidana, Ortiz or Alexander then it would have been considered a great performance.

The question here though is.

On the back of this, does he look like he could beat Baily?

Afterall thats what this was about and I dont know what the timescale is between this fight and when he has to fight Bailey.

(kash) your boy took a hell of a beating.

Yeah I still go by what I said a week ago

Khan got a beating at world level while Brook got one against a bum. Huge difference in that

"a bum"

That bum would beat Khan. He can't handle stronger come forward type fighters who can punch. Brook can punch and times his shots very well. He needs to improve his stamina and conditioning, but if he caught khan flush, which doesn't appear to be that hard, he will be doing the chicken legs dance again.

I'm disappointed that Khan lost, but it makes Brook vs Khan a more realistic fight, which will be good for UK boxing.

Paisley Amir successfully handled forward coming punchers like Maidaina and Judah. His problem is a tactical problem where he is getting hit flush and to be honest Brooks power is overated but that fight as good as it will be I have my doubts as Oscar has said that Amir should remain at 140 while Brook camp are considering light middle as he's struggling to make 147 unless he improves his diet.
